Dear Parents,
Dr. Cain’s request for two additional waiver days was denied by the Texas Education Agency. The
plan for making up these two days is as follows:
1) Friday, June 3, 2016 will now be a student instructional day.
2) Beginning Monday, May 2nd our school day will be extended by 18 minutes. We will be adding 5
minutes at the beginning of the day and 13 minutes at the end of the day. The schedule is listed
below:
7:45 Students will enter the building and staff will be on duty
8:15 Tardy Bell
3:20 Dismissal begins
This schedule will also be the new time schedule set for the 2016-2017 school year that was
approved by the school board with the 2016-2017 Klein ISD calendar. Thank you for all your patience
and understanding as we recover from last week’s bad weather. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,
Evelyn Castillo Principal
