We are submitting the annual project report of your funded project RAAZI Hospital (Mother &

Child Healthcare Centre) Islamabad-Pakistan that covered 40,000 vulnerable families with your

kind support. This project was aimed to provide better facilities in the field of “Mother & Child

Healthcare in Pakistan”.

This Project has three phases in two years. First phase of planning & legal documentation was

completed in March 2013. Now, second phase (construction) is under progress. This project is

funded by ICNA Relief Canada with the total amount of Rs. C$ 441,735. In the year 2013, we have

received Rs. C$ 221,000 and the remaining amount of Rs. C$ 220,735 will be received in the year

2014 for the successful completion of this project.

Goal & Objective:

“Mother & Child Health Center (MCHC)” will help and provide services to the suffered and

needy community of Islamabad. It will provide free treatment to the patients having no means

to appoint the concerned doctor and buy medicines. Mother and Child care will be taken to

decrease death ratio during delivery stages. The objective of this project is to deploy a cost-

effective hospital at CBR Society Islamabad and monitor the social and economic benefits of

such a hospital to the population of the area. To assist the poor and needy people of the area,

disable and deserving people will be treated. Our targeted beneficiaries are about 40,000 low

income families.

Project Description:

A plot measuring 2.5 Kanals (valued at about PKR 4.9 Million) has been acquired at a suitable

site in CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Society Islamabad for establishing a Welfare

Hospital dedicated to health care especially, Mother and Child Health Care (MCHC). Project

duration is two years and it comprises on three phases.
