Bookmark

Using 1 novel that you read, you are to create a bookmark using images, pictures,

and words that represent the main theme of your book. Look through magazines or

newspapers for words and pictures that describe your book. Use these to create a

collage on a bookmark.

The bookmark must be 8 inches long and 2 inches wide.

You must have at least 5 images/pictures that represent your book.

You must have at least 3 words or phrases that represent your book.

Your bookmark must be completely colored (no white space).

Using lined paper, write a rationale statement for each image/picture you chose to

represent your book. These rationales must be a complete sentence. You must also

write a rationale for each word you chose to represent your book. These rationales

must be a complete sentence. You must have at least 8 rationale statements all

together. Head your paper with the novel title and the author’s name. On the back of

your paper, have your parents write a sentence stating that you did indeed, read

your chosen novel, then have them sign it and date it.
