The Hal Fulgham Memorial Scholarship is named after one of the founders of the organization, a member of the faculty at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. This scholarship, awarded to a graduating senior of an ATPI member, is based on an 8-10 print portfolio of the student’s work and may be used to further the student’s education after high school. 2004 Scholarship Winners First Place Victor Gutierrez Jersey Village HS Houston, TX Second Place Katie Pace Saint Mary’s Hall San Antonio, TX Third Place Kelly Quarles Jersey Village HS Houston, TX 1st Honorable Mention Erin Babis Trinity HS Euless, TX The ATPI Top Program award is based on school portfolios of 10 prints. Each school may select four of the eight categories in which to enter port- folios - architecture, digital, sports, por- trait, documentary/PJ, still life, thematic and landscape. Each port- folio represents the work of at least five students.
