CAREER HIGHLIGHTS • The former first-round pick is pitching in his eighth

professional season, coming with the Seattle (2009-11), Boston (2011-12) and Houston (2013-16) organizations...has appeared in 149 Major League games and amassed 177 punchouts in 143.1 innings, all with Houston.

• In 2015, ranked fifth among AL relievers in strikeouts per 9.0 innings (11.90) and struck out more batters than baserunners allowed on the season (67 SO vs. 39 H, 19 BB, 1 HB)...oddly enough, earned a win on his birthday, his second consecutive season to do so...is just the seventh Major League reliever all-time to win two games on his birthday.
