Conclusions
Due to increasing globalization, it is absolutely essential for industry to have comprehensive knowledge of standards, regulations, guidelines and recommendations.
Even specialists have some problems regarding the correct application of the wide range of different standards.
Industry therefore urgently requires internationally harmonized
standards and
tests with
global acceptance.
During international work, standards users should be supported by application aids and cooperation with other experts.
IFAN appears to be a very helpful platform for these important tasks.
