NORCECA 2006

PRESIDENT REPORT

With the guidance of FIVB's President, Dr. Rubén Acosta Hernandez, and the extraordinary success achieved by NORCECA's Administration during the past four years, 2006 have shown the capacity for an excellent management of NORCECA Volleyball Confederation and the responsibility and leadership of the men and the women that today form part of the Executive Committee and Board of Administration of the North, Central America and the Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). A total of (19) Regional, Continental and International Volleyball and Beach Volleyball competitions were developed during the year 2006, completing NORCECA's competition calendar as established. All of NORCECA Commissions meetings, Sports Organizing, Refereeing, Beach Volleyball, Technical & Coaches, Medicals, Press, Marketing and Finance were held as scheduled during the month of February with enormous results. In the year 2006 all Commissions held their meetings in the newly NORCECA Headquarters, that today constitute a modern facility for NORCECA's Administration. Located in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, well equipped with the latest technology available, NORCECA Headquarters has sufficient office space to comfortable host the Board of Administration and Executive Committee, as well as all of NORCECA Commissions.
