2008 Class of Experienced and Emerging Leaders Program Graduates New Castle, Indiana (October 15, 2008)—On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, fifty-nine (59) Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) employees graduated from the 2008 Commissioner’s Experienced and Emerging Leaders (EEL) program at the Correctional Training Institute. The EEL program began in 2007 to bring together promising mid-level staff to engage in numerous workshops conducted over an eight month period with the goal of improving their leadership skills and develop them into tomorrow’s great correctional leaders. Commissioner Buss extended his congratulations to the graduates by saying, “Each of you demonstrates qualities that will further your paths of leadership within the agency. By participating in this program, you have taken a step to ensure that the Department of Correction will continue to be led by dedicated, accomplished employees.” This year’s graduates included: Andre Patterson Angela Sutton Audrey Molina Catherine Bowie Cathy Osborne Charollette Long Chawn H.
