For those with a sense of adventure, I joined Steve on the Great White Shark exploration last October and will go again at the end of September. Our daughter Shannon is “Shark Lady” for San Diego Shark Divers who venture to Guadelupe Is in Mexico for observing, photo ops, tagging, and Id-ing these magnifi cent savages!

Bio: Hi, I’ve retired from NASA-Ames Research Center,
Mtn. View, and now live in Surprise, AZ. I worked for 36 years and enjoy organizing my life and not my employers. It’s much easier to retire out of California. My son lives in Surprise, also, and my daughter is in Los Banos. On 12/31/2002, I created the best New Year’s Resolution for myself: Once a month I will get out and do something different. This was hard, at fi rst, but on 12/31/2003, I was in London, England. I now do something different, regularly, and easily fi ll my monthly requirement.
