REDISCOVER THE GREAT OUTDOORS. 2008Remember when your parents told you to get

off the couch and go outside to play? You’re

probably telling your kids the same things, ex-

cept now they’re playing computer games in-

stead of watching TV. So pull the plug on that

game and do something they’ll remember long

after their latest high score is forgotten. Load

up the dirtbikes. Take a day off, or schedule a

weekend. Get out and go riding with them. And

teach your kids there’s more to life

than what they find online.

A QUALITY BIKE EQUALS MORE QUALITY TIME

Nothing is more frustrating than wanting to go

riding but having to fuss with your bike instead.

That’s why you should be riding a Honda dirtbike.

You’ll see 20- and 30-year-old Hondas out on the

trail that are still running long after other bikes

end up in the recycling bin. Your new Honda

CRF/F is more than an investment in quality,

though. It’s an investment in the quality time

you’ll be spending in the great outdoors. And

there’s no replacement for that.

CRF230F Our biggest off-road fun bike, the CRF®230F is the perfect size for adults or larger

teens. The single-cylinder engine has plenty of power and user-friendly torque spread out over a

wide rpm range. This year it features a narrower seat and fuel tank, and a new handlebar bend

to improve rider comfort.

CRF150F With its 19-inch front wheel and 16-inch rear wheel, the CRF150F is a size smaller

than the 230, but shares many of the features, like the new seat, tank, and handlebar, and the

durable plastic bodywork.

CRF100F This is a perennial favorite of off-road riders. Big enough for Mom, but small enough

to fit a variety of young riders too. Amazingly versatile, and tough as a piece of railroad track,

there’s good reason why it’s one of the best-selling off-road bikes of all time.

CRF70F Even lower and lighter than our CRF80F, the CRF70F features a key difference that can be a big deal to be-

ginning riders. What makes this bike remarkable is its three-speed semi-automatic transmission. Developed by Honda

years ago, this technology has helped thousands of people learn to ride. Your child can shift through the gears without

having to worry about a manual clutch or stalling—all they have to do is have fun!

CRF50F There’s no bike on the trails that can match the CRF50F’s reputation for dependability—and fun. With a low

21.6-inch seat height and small ten-inch wheels, it’s a perfect first bike for when your child is ready to start riding. A

keyed ignition helps you control when they go riding, too.

ELECTRIC STARTER The

CRF230F and CRF150F feature

effortless electric starters. Just

turn a key, push a button, and

you’re on your way. What could

be easier?

DURABILITY If Honda’s

famous for one thing, it’s our

engines—they’re powerful and

lightweight. You know you’re

getting quality with one of

these bikes.

SPARK ARRESTOR All our

CRF/F models come with a

USDA-approved spark arrestor.

It’s the only responsible way to

ride, and it helps cut down on

noise pollution, too.

BUILT TO LAST Features like

tough steel frames and skid-

plates are just a couple of the

reasons your new Honda is

built to last. Less time repairing

means more time riding.

CRF70F CRF50F

CRF80F There’s a big dif ference between the

CRF®80F and our smaller off-road bikes: the 80

features a traditional handlebar-mounted manual

clutch and a five-speed transmission, just like a

full-sized motorcycle. If your youngster is ready to

step up to those features but still wants the lower

seat height this model offers, the CRF80F is the

perfect choice. The proven 80cc engine, durable

steel chassis and rugged plastic tank and bodywork

along with Honda’s untouchable reputation for

quality mean this is a bike you can count on for

years of no-hassle operation.

PROGRAMS THAT PERFORM There’s more to your new Honda than all its great features. Just

log on to powersports.honda.com/programs and you’ll discover all the great programs available

to you, including things like the Honda Rider’s Club of America,® financing, rider training, and Honda

Protection Plans.

BE A RESPONSIBLE RIDER Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing

whenever you ride. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Be sure you check out our

website dedicated to off-road riding: offroad.honda.com. You’ll find information on where to ride,

how to choose the right bike, trail tips from the pros, and more. Just

log on for all the details. PARENTS need to consider their youngsters’

age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. Obtain

a copy of the “Off-Road Safety Tips” from your local Honda Dealer.

Inspect your motorcycle before riding and read your owner’s manual.

Check your HRCA® guide or log on to the HRCA website (hrca.honda

.com) for information concerning reimbursement for Motorcycle Safety

Foundation (MSF) rider training. Whenever you ride off-road, make sure

you follow all the “TREAD LIGHTLY” guidelines, and always stay on

established trails in approved areas. Keep your riding areas clean, use common sense, and respect

the rights of others. Operating your motorcycle with a modified engine, exhaust system or noise-

control system may be illegal. Always obtain written permission before riding on private lands, and

obey all the laws and regulations governing your riding areas. Remember, all CRF/F models shown

are designed exclusively for off-road operator-only use.

Specifi cations, programs and availability subject to change without notice. See your Honda Dealer for details on all programs. All specifi cations in this brochure—including
