8.1 Low Temperature Test

Put it in a vessel at the condition of -40 for 240 hours, and then Leave it at room temperature for 24 hours or more.

8.2 High temperature Test

Put it in a vessel at the condition of 80 for 240 hours, and then Leave it at room temperature for 24 hours or more.

8.3 Temperature and Humidity Test

Put it in a vessel at the condition of 60, 90%RH for 240 hours, and then Leave it at room temperature for 24 hours or more.

8.4 Repetition of High and Low Temperature

Put it in a vessel at the condition of -40 for 30 minutes and then 80 for 30 minutes. This Process is repeated 10 cycles. Then it is left at room temperature for 24 hours or more.

10. Appearance inspection criterion The followings are applied to the viewing area. Those in the non-viewing area are ignored as long as the electrical performance of the touch panel is normal.

W=Width, L=Length, T=Thickness. Contamination that can be cleaned using a soft cloth with ethyl alcohol does not apply to these inspection criterion. But if an object is in the viewing area after rubbed by the soft cloth to a direction 3 times longer, it is considered a linear foreign object.

Inspection Area

Inspection condition The inspection shall be performed by using 1000LUX fluorescent lamp.

The panel shall be placed at 30cm away from eyes as shown below.

11. Handling Remarks

SUBJECT NOTE

Storage - Store product at Storage Environment.(4.3)

- Do not expose product to a direct ray of the sun.

- Do not give shock and vibration to the product.

Unpacking - Open the box after checking the right side up.

- Do not grip and pull FPC when take out panel.

Handling

- Use gloves to avoid leaving fingerprint or smut.

- Do not touch where tails are heat-sealed in order to avoid disconnection.

- Hold panel around outside of viewing area.

- Do not pile panel onto other panel.

- Do not put heavy objects on panel.

- Clean off panel with soft clothes with alcohol when surface is dirty.

- Do not use organic solvents except alcohol.

- Handle with care from panel’s sharp edges.

Assembly

- Please design housing which minimizes stress onto panel.

- Please pay attention not to harm touch panels with your tools which

may be used for assembling.

- Please pay attention not to create any stress to the heat-sealed tails.

Housing design

- Keep the gap(over 0.3mm) between the touch panel and flat-panel

display to protect a display device and display surface.

- The front case design as below.

- Recommend the use of a cushion material between the panel and

.the bezel, cushion material should be limited only on the busbar area.

.If it is out of the busbar area, panel may occur a short.

Operation 1) Do not operate touch panel by applying excessive force.

2) Do not use a sharp thing for input.

3) We recommend calibration after long time use.

12. Others 12.1 This specification shall guarantee the quality of the product. When using the products, be sure to check and evaluate after installing on your equipment. 12.2 It is fragile product. Please put the box down gently and prevent dropping the box

12.3 Any changes of the approved specification should be approved by both parties. It can not be changed if not approved

13. Warranty Touch Panel products manufactured in accordance with this specification shall be Warranted for 12 months from the data of shipping from HYUPJININC, when

the Products are stored at the conditions of these sheet. If the products provided are not stored or used under specifications, 12 months

Warranty will be void.
