Low Pressure Compressors EC1/EC2

Our EC boat compressors reliably provide large volumes of breathing quality air with automated performance - turning on when needed and turning off when the need is satisfi ed. Our compressors feature wash-down quality Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled electric motors with effi cient Direct Drive compressor assemblies, in either single or dual head compressor confi gurations. Incoming air is pulled through the dry-top snorkel, or a remote intake snorkel can be installed to pull air from a fresh air source.

Our EC compressors are available in 12vdc, 24vdc, 115vac and 230vac (50 or 60Hz) versions to suit almost any installation. The EC1-12vdc is also available as a self-contained system in a dry box with a power supply adaptor/cord for access to boat-mounted batteries

Refrigerated DryerTropical air can hold tremendous amounts of moisture - moisture that can clog or drastically diminish the life of fi lter cartridges and ruin air-driven tools. Installing a refrigerated dryer in the system downstream of the low-pressure compressor will remove harmful humidity and extend the life of your air components. Models are sized to match the air volume of your system. Operation is virtually silent. Models available in 115vac and 230vac (50 or 60Hz). Cabinet standard fi nish is painted marine white; pictured with optional stainless steel panel upgrade.

Add the E-REEL™ upgrade package to your Boat Hookah System today to create the ultimate diving system! The reel assembly can be installed wherever space permits and remains hidden from view when not in use, keeping your deck clean and functional. The system includes a Hawse through-hull fi tting which provides access to hose and seals the opening when not in use. Up to 150ft of hose can be manually deployed from the reel. HIGH PRESSURE STORAGE/CASCADE SYSTEMS

Brownie’s designs storage systems for air, oxygen, nitrox, helium or any other specialized

gas needed on your vessel. Valves, regulators, plumbing and rack construction requirements

are all taken into consideration at the earliest stages of the process. The result is a system

integrated into your vessel.

Storing large volumes of air, nitrox or other gas allows you to fi ll your scuba or fi refi ghting

scba tanks much more quickly and effi ciently than fi lling directly from the compressor. For

instance, fi lling 4 standard scuba tanks on our YP55 system would take approximately 52

minutes. By contrast, fi lling the same 4 cylinders from a cascade system would take less than

5 minutes. This is especially important for fi refi ghting considerations.

Air & NitroxControlling the fl ow of gases through your system is paramount for effi ciency and safety. Brownie’s fi ll panels are designed in a logical format with directional fl owlines for easy recognition by the operator. Controls are easily manipulated and provide precise adjustments. All fi ttings, connectors, hardware and tubing are manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel for maximum safety and service life.

We have standard designs suitable for most applications. We can also design and build custom fi ll panels to meet any specialized need. If you have a gas control requirement, we can create the optimum solution.

In addition to traditional scuba tanks, many vessels also carry scba bottles for fi refi ghting apparatus.

Your Brownie’s Yacht Pro™ compressor can perform double duty by also fi lling scba bottles. Care

should be taken to verify tanks are only fi lled to their rated pressure. A specialized fi ll panel can

easily be added to any compressor system, simplifying the fi lling operation and reducing confusion.

NITROXMAKER™ SERIES

Nitrox with Triox OptionBrownie’s NitroxMaker™ is an easy-to-use nitrox station designed specifi cally for yachts. This system is capable of producing and analyzing nitrox

mixtures from 21%-40% with the turn of a dial. Simply choose the appropriate mixture and the NitroxMaker™ produces the gas using a high-

effi ciency semi-permeable membrane system that operates at a remarkably low temperature. This method of nitrox production eliminates the

need to carry bulky and potentially hazardous cylinders of pure oxygen onboard. Additionally, by utilizing a membrane that does not require

high-temperature heating for stabilization or effi ciency, potential damage to the high-pressure compressor is avoided. The NitroxMaker™ can be

integrated with the medium duty YachtPro™ 45 and the full line of heavy duty Yacht Pro™ compressors. This makes nitrox generation available to

a wide range of vessel sizes and confi gurations.

Storage Bottles/Banks are high-capacity tanks designed for storing large volumes of gas including air, nitrox, trimix and helium.

The Fill Control Panel directs the fl ow gas from the high-pressure compressor to storage bottles and/or fi ll whips. Precise controls allow for effi cient “cascade fi lling” of tanks (see chart on page 33).

The High Pressure Compressor pumps either ambient air or nitrox from the NitroxMakerTM

up to 5000 psi for use in scuba tanks and air storage systems.

The NitroxMakerTM Cabinet is where the operator designates a desired nitrox mixture up to 40%. Clean air from the LP compressor is converted into nitrox, analyzed and displayed digitally to ensure accuracy.

The Refrigerated Dryer/Filter removes impurities and moisture to ensure only the highest quality air fl ows through the system to the NitroxMakerTM.

The Rotary Screw Low-Pressure Compressor provides the gas that will fl ow through the NitroxMakerTM. It is precisely matched to the size of the HP compressor and is capable of providing ship’s air for other applications if necessary.

The Low-Pressure Air Storage Tank provides the volume of LP air necessary to drive and maintain the needed pressure for the NitroxMakerTM.

ENGINEERING, DESIGN & INTEGRATION SERVICES

2D & 3D Engineering

Today’s dive systems are an integrated part of the yacht itself; therefore, the best result may only be achieved if the plans for them are

included during the beginning concept portion of the project. To accomplish this, our staff reviews the basic diving goals provided by each

customer and suggests an effi cient, functional allocation of space for consideration during the “general arrangement” plan.

After basic spaces are marked for Ship’s Air, dive systems and support, we produce a 3D rendering depicting the placement of essential

items. The primary objectives of this phase are feasibility, ergonomics and appearance. Once completed the 2D mechanical drawings are

then provided to the builder so they may supply the necessary electrical, cooling and foundation resources. Meanwhile, Brownie’s produces

and tests the equipment. Upon completion, shipment and installation activities are coordinated with the builder. On custom projects a

Brownie’s representative can be made available for start-up, use and maintenance training.

The combined talents at Brownie’s provide the resources and experience necessary to design, engineer and produce the goal-specifi ed dive

system. Whether a basic tankfi ll system, built-in hookah or a full dive locker complete with nitrox, mixed gas and recompression chamber

support are desired, a design package will ensure a reliable, anticipated and satisfactory outcome.

Oxygen CompressorThese oil-free compressors have developed a reputation for safety and reliability. Careful attention to materials and performance requirements, along with stringent oxygen cleaning procedures produce the best oxygen cylinder fi lling compressors on the market today.(Pressures 60-3000 psi/4-205bar)

Helium StorageOur transportable bottle pallet rack system is specially designed to provide for the special needs of mixed gas storage onboard yachts. The pallet system has self-centering corner mounts. A single point lift harness allows a tender davit to deliver the pallet to a dockside truck for transport to a recharging/exchange facility.

Boost PumpsThese pumps allow you to use virtually the entire volume of stored gases, especially important with exotic gas blends. Our boost pumps are simple to operate with minimal maintenance and a low noise level of 77dB at 3 feet.

Oxygen GeneratorOur systems extract oxygen (up to 99% purity available) from the surrounding air for use in diving gases, submarine support or hyperbaric treatment.

Gasoline Powered Floating Systems - F280 or F390Brownie’s Floating Hookah Diving Systems offer the freedom to dive when and where you want without the use of conventional scuba

equipment. By replacing bulky scuba tanks and traditional buoyancy compensators with Brownie’s Drop Weight Cummerbelt™ and fl oat-

mounted compressor, divers can enjoy hours of fun exploring the underwater world. In fact, the Brownie™ offers divers approximately

three hours of air on less than one gallon of gas…less than the cost of fi lling a single scuba tank! Brownie’s Floating Hookah Diving Systems

can support as many as 3 divers to depths of up to 90 feet. Add-A-Diver Kits that allow an additional diver to participate are available
