The Land: Honduras is mountainous except on the coasts. Forests cover much of the land. Lots of amazing, colorful birds live there, as well as many different kinds of animals: jaguars, pumas, kinkajous, anteaters, sloths, monkeys, and ocelots.

Weather: Honduras has a dry season from December through April. March and April are very hot. It’s cooler in the mountains.

Assemblies of God Facts: Fifteen U.S. Assemblies of God missionaries work in Honduras. More than 130,000 people worship in about 1,850 churches. Many pastors do not have Bible school training. Three Bible schools and 21 training programs are training more than 1,000 students.
