Alan Ovson, Actor, Educator and EntrepreneurNo is Not a Negative WordDo you find yourself saying “no” to friends, bosses, family members, or co-workers and then feeling conflicted or just plain bad about what you said or how you said it? Well, join the club. The word “no” is a very positive word that forces us to define what we want or need usually in conflict with what another person wants or needs. It is this conflict or the fear of conflict that makes it so discomforting when we say no.

After attending these sessions you will have the power to say what you feel and really mean it.

Speaker: Actor, educator, entrepreneur, theologian and sought-after expert in the field of communications, Alan Ovson blends his high content speeches and seminars with a unique style that gets audiences to listen, laugh, and learn. For Alan, “Humor is serious business…Get people to share a laugh and you can get them to think and work together at a deeper level.” For over 20 years, Alan has customized speeches and interactive seminars around his client’s unique challenges. Alan uses his educational, acting, and directing background to engage participants in the learning process while pushing them to think beyond theircomfort levels. He often “brings in” his team of experts (archetypal characters within everyone) tohumorously address sensitive topics, and explain the right and wrong way to present, lead, negotiate, and communicate. Alan’s goals are to get his audiences to listen, laugh, and learn, and they do.
