• 9-10 grade global studies, European studies, world geog., & world history students
• 1 team per school
• Presentation: 15 minutes
• Q & A: 10 minutes
• Format: your choice
• Up to 100 teams, nationally, will compete in Regional rounds and in New York City.
Three-part Challenge Question
• Describe the current economic situation in the euro area (the economic region consisting of the 15 EU member countries who have adopted the euro).
Euro Challenge 2009 Part I
• Select one economic-related challenge confronting the euro area as a whole, and pick one of the 15 member countries of the euro area to illustrate that challenge.
