Why do we need your help?

Unlike a parish school, Holy Family is solely responsible for generating enough income each year to pay for its operations, enhancements, maintenance, emergency reserves and debt service. The main sources for this income include tuition and fees, parish support and the annual giving.

What is annual giving?

Annual giving refers to the funds raised in the Choir of Angels appeal and various fundraising events throughout the year. The income serves to “bridge the GAP” between the funds collected for tuition, fees, parish support, and the actual cost to educate a student.

What is the GAP for 2010–2011?

HFCS’ total 2010–11 operating expense is $3,384,557. The operating income is budgeted at $2,879,261, leaving a deficit or GAP of $505,296. Dividing the deficit of $595,296 by 490 students in attendance yields a GAP of $1031 per student.

Is my gift to the Choir of Angels Appeal tax deductible?

Yes, to the fullest extent of the law. *An estimated value of the goods and services received will be provided at the end of the year.

When do I make my pledge?

Please submit your written pledge by Friday, October 29, 2010.

How do I pay my pledge?

gYou may pay the day you make your pledge, or you may make eight equal monthly payments that can be drawn directly from a checking account or credit card.

Does Holy Family qualify for a matching gift program?

Yes, Holy Family is a 503(c)(3) non-profit corporation and therefore qualifies for corporate matching funds programs. Please see the insert provided.
