Teresa Lee owns and operates Teresa Lee Photography, Intima Photography and Weddings by Teresa Lee. The pricing

and information contained in this document applies to all three brands.

Teresa Lee Photography

Teresa Lee Photography was founded in 2001 as a creative outlet for Teresa. After leaving a successful career in

marketing to start a family, Teresa opened her own studio. Her passion for photography had begun as a child. Every

year for Christmas, she had the same wish….a camera. Every year her parents or Santa would bring her one. As a child

Teresa modeled and spent much time in front of the camera, where she learned about angles and posing. As time

passed she became even more fascinated by what the photographers could do. One of her inspirations was a local

photographer that has run a studio in her home town for over 30 years. Robert Jenkins of Robert Jenkins Photography is

a master portrait artist. His magical family portraits have graced homes all over the mid-south for decades. His

meticulous understanding of portrait lighting drove Teresa’s passion. Early in her career she turned to Robert and he

gave her instruction on lighting and using cameras in a professional studio. Teresa also gained so much from her career

as a marketing professional which entailed managing national advertising campaigns. In her position she was

responsible for hiring models for print and television promotions. She worked with the models and photographers to

get the exact images she needed for the campaign. Teresa quickly learned how to direct and pose models to make them

look their best and create very special images. She has used this experience and knowledge to build a successful studio

in Colorado. Her work has a “high fashion” influence. Rarely will you see an image from Teresa where everyone is

looking at the camera and saying “cheese”. Clients looking for the very traditional, posed family portrait may need to

look somewhere else. Teresa believes in working with a family or individual to create something unique….Images that

show true personality, spirit and capture a moment in time that can never be replicated.

Teresa is a member of the PPA and WPPI, two of the top photography associations in the world. As a 9-time Kodak

Award winner, her work has been displayed on the Kodak Electronic Billboard in Times Square, NY.

In 2009 & 2010 Teresa was voted Best Photographer in Colorado Springs.

Intima Photography

In 2007 Teresa created Intima Photography in response to requests from female clients that were interested in taking

tasteful & romantic images. By 2007, Teresa was pregnant with her 3rd child. Her maternity photos were being

influenced by her personal experiences. She wanted to portray pregnant women as beautiful, sexy and powerful. The

maternity images she was creating, mainly nude and sensual, created a demand in non-pregnant women. They started

calling and saying “I love your maternity work, but I am not pregnant. Can you take pictures like that for me?” Intima

Photography is a way for women to express their confidence, passion and beauty at any age or shape. Teresa’s

expertise in studio lighting and posing can help any woman to showcase themselves in ways they didn’t believe were

possible. Her work is tasteful and elegant. Women walk away from their sessions feeling more confident and

empowered than at any other time in their lives. Most women come in to do the session as a gift for someone else, but

leave feeling it was the best gift they had ever given themselves.

Weddings by Teresa Lee

Having grown up in the wedding business, Teresa has a passion for creating artistic, magazine quality images. Her

mother was a florist which allowed for Teresa to attend many weddings as a child. Her first wedding photography shoot

happened by fluke when she was just eight years old. Her aunt was marrying in a small ceremony in Arkansas. As the

bride was about to come down the aisle, people realized that no one had a camera. Teresa stepped in with a Kodak 110

with a flash cube and started shooting away. Who knew that she would start a trend that would dominate fashion

magazines 25 years later? Yes, heads were cut off and her use of angles was way ahead of her time. Today, Teresa

travels the country as a premier wedding photographer. She has been hired to photograph weddings from coast to

coast, consistently creating dramatic magazine quality images.

Overview/intro

Our 2010 Product Pricing and Information Guide is intended to be a comprehensive document designed to provide you

with most of the information you will need from scheduling your session thru ordering your portraits. We will discuss

session options, clothing and wardrobe, copy rights, model releases, products, finishing options and, finally the best way

to understand and process your order. You may always contact our studio for more detail or specific questions

regarding any step in the process.

Session options and pricing

At Teresa Lee Photography, we offer studio, location and traveling sessions. All sessions are conducted by appointment

only.

Studio

Our studio sessions are conducted using controlled (tungsten and strobe) studio lighting and are conducted either from

our home studio or in Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs. When traveling, we use our mobile studio set-up and

typically use hotel conference/meeting rooms (or similar). This mobile set-up offers the same high quality images

created in our studios in Colorado Springs. When choosing a studio session, we offer over 20 differing backdrop options.

It is important to discuss with Teresa color schemes prior to your session. You will want to discuss the color of the room

in which your portrait will be displayed. This will help in choosing which backdrop and wardrobe options may be most

appropriate. Clients may have two wardrobe changes per hour.

Location Sessions

Location sessions in Colorado are considered to be anywhere within 15 miles of our home studio. These outdoor photo

shoots are an amazing way to add variety and take advantage of local scenery. It is important to note that Teresa’s style

of photography is still focused on the client and she can create amazing images in-front of a beautiful mountain or a

dirty alley. Our location shoots do include the use of available light and off-camera strobe lighting. While we can shoot

at just about any time of day, it is best to schedule outdoor sessions in good weather, either early or late in the day.

Mid-day sunlight can be harsh and increase squinting and shadows.

Location shoots can be upgraded to include studio lighting with battery packs and crew. This upgrade helps to create

fashion or magazine style images outdoor (all weddings must use this option).

Travel Sessions

Travel sessions include any outdoor session beyond 15 miles of our home studio (or base of operations when working

outside of Colorado). Travel sessions require a minimum of two hours.

Legal

Copyrights

There are many misconceptions regarding copyrights. “Copyright” is a legal term that defines the owner of the image.

The owner of the image may claim the work as their own and alter it in any manner they choose. Teresa Lee

Photography never relinquishes its copyright to an image. It is, however, our intent to allow clients to enjoy and

reproduce purchased digital images; therefore, we do offer limited or full releases for the use of digital images. A full

print release will allow you to display, print, reproduce or use the image in any manner you choose. It will not allow you

to claim the work as your own (which a copyright does) or distort of alter the image for reproduction. Please

understand that a photographer offering a copyright release probably does not understand the legal ramifications of the

statement and is probably not a member of PPA or other professional organizations. We do wish to ensure clients

understand that is illegal to scan or reproduce images without express written consent/release of the photographer.

Failure to comply is a felony and is punishable with up to 5 years in jail and a $25,000 fine per incident.

Model Release

We require all clients to complete a model release for each session. It must be completed and signed prior to your

session. This release allows for us to process your images including placing them on our proofing site and printing the

images in our lab. This release may also allow Teresa Lee Photography to use approved images on our main website and

marketing. Any images you do not wish to be used in marketing may be omitted from the release form. Please see and

complete the model release included in the packet prior to your session.

Model Release

This form grants permission to Teresa Lee Photography, Inc. for use of your images included but not limited to print

competition, portfolios, displays, advertising, website, or any other lawful purpose.

We have read this agreement and acknowledge that we accept these terms.

Print Options

Standard Prints

Our standard prints are printed on the highest quality photo paper from a professional lab in California. The editing

monitor Teresa uses is color calibrated with the lab to ensure true color with each print. They are a much higher quality

than chain stores or printing on a photo printer.

Mounting & Spraying

These prints are mounted on a 2mm “Styrene Board” using pressure sensitive material. Styrene is a super smooth

plastic mounting substrate that resists warping, making it an excellent choice for adding durability to prints of all sizes. A

protective coating helps guard against scratching and other damage, and enhances the appearance of prints. This

option also allows for easy framing. No additional backing or glass is required for framing.

Thin Wraps

This contemporary product is printed then wrapped around a Gatorboard. A ½” mounting block is attached to the back

of the ThinWrap which allows the image to be hung and appear to float from the wall. ThinWraps can also be ordered

with optional Easel Stands (stands for sizes under 12x12). No frame needed, these beautifully mounted and finished

prints are available in a wide variety of sizes. With no framing requirement you may wish to order a larger print. A

20x24” Thin Wrap uses the same space of a matted and framed 16x20”.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Gallery Wrapped Canvas portraits are printed directly onto museum quality canvas material using high quality archival inks. The canvas print is then wrapped around a 1 ½”stretcher frame so that the photo’s edges are visible on the sides of the frame. Your choice of Glossy or Lustre finishing spray is applied to each piece to protect the surface of the print. Delivered with paper backing and hanging hardware attached. The Gallery Wrapped Canvas is an art piece and our highest end product.

Editing

This section will detail the types of editing that happen prior to viewing your images and what is done to ordered images

and finally what can be done. Edited images have been processed with a general airbrush, color calibration, treatment

and cropping. Additional fees apply for spot correction and major reconstruction.

General Airbrush

A general airbrush filter is applied during import for all images. This general airbrush will smooth skin removing fine

lines, minor blemishes and skin imperfections. It does not give the images a finished look, nor does the treatment

appear to make the images look “touched up or fake”. If you do not wish to have general airbrushing performed, it is

important to disclose this during the session as this is an automated process that occurs during the uploading of your

images to our software.

Color Correction/Treatment

There are many color correction and treatment options available. The most common being conversion from color to

black & white or sepia. The image processing software we use allows for Teresa to alter the appearance of an image to

fit her creative desire for that image. In most cases, Teresa has the end product in mind when she captures the image.

Meaning she will make the necessary adjustments on her camera when she is taking the image to ensure she can create

a certain effect during processing. In some cases that treatment can be changed in multiple ways in some instances it

cannot. If there are images that you have seen that you really like (or do not like) it is important to speak with Teresa

about that in advance of the session. As an example, there are treatments for outdoor images that cannot be replicated

on studio images and vice versa.

Cropping

All images are shown in a 6x9 ratio. This is the equivalent of an 8x12, 16x24 etc.. During the ordering appointment we

will discuss cropping and show you how an image may be cropped to remove background clutter or change the focus of

an image. You will also be able to crop the image to different ratios at no cost.

Spot Correction

Spot correction is a term indicating that “corrections” can be handmade (not thru the automated airbrushing) to an

image. Spot correction is required for blemish removal, deep wrinkle reduction on clothing or faces, and minor

liposuction that the client requests. These corrections must be done manually and will only be done on images that are

ordered. Teresa will normally spot correct 1 image from the session to show what can be done to remove these

imperfections prior to you seeing the images. There is a $10 fee per image (not per print or size) for spot correction. As

an example if the client has spot correction performed on an image and then prints multiple copies of that image in

multiple sizes there is only one fee applied.

Major Reconstruction

Major reconstruction includes but is not limited to; head swapping (taking a person from 1 image and replacing them in

another image) removal or addition of a person, removal of foreign objects from an image (cars, power lines,

background people etc.), major skin repair and major body reshaping. During your ordering appointment we will discuss

the feasibility of these corrections. Major Reconstruction is billed at $25 per correction. Multiple fees may be applied

per image. As an example, if you would like to head swap someone from a different image into an image and remove

someone else from the image and remove severe blemishes on one person, you may have to pay two major

reconstructions and one spot correction fee for that image.

One way to avoid major reconstruction is to ensure there are no distractions during the photo shoot, including not

allowing other cameras to be present. Too often when friends or other family members start taking pictures, we find

that part of the photographed party is looking at someone else. This is a frequent occurrence during formal wedding

and family portraits. It is also very helpful to schedule the session during a time when any children being photographed

are well rested. Attempts should also be made to communicate with children the importance of the session in advance.

While Teresa has been featured in a book on photographing Babies and Children, uncooperative or un-rested children

make up approximately 90% of our major reconstruction.

Coffee Table Books/Albums

Coffee Table books are custom-designed to display 20-40 images, depending on the artist's design and images chosen.

These books are created to tell a story through your favorite images and are sure to become lasting family heirlooms.

While you may select the maximum number of images for your book, it may not be the best design. It is always

recommended to allow Teresa to custom design the book with the images that will allow the most artistic layout.

This product is a traditional photo greeting card with your choice of image and greeting. We will design up to 3 different

options from which you may choose. Cards are ordered in sets of 24 with envelopes included.

Custom 12-Month Calendars

The 11"x17", 12 month, calendar includes 13 images (one per month plus the cover). Calendars may be used for Intima

clients, families or individuals. Each image is approximately 8"x10" and must be vertical. The “calendar” portion is

minimal as the product is more image focused.

The 8 ½ x 11, 12 month, calendar includes 13 images (one per month plus the cover). Calendars may be used for Intima

clients, families or individuals. Each image is approximately 8”x10” and must be horizontal. This is more like a

traditional calendar and is less image focused.

Miscellaneous Products

Digital Images

We offer several digital options from full files (usually 5-10mb per file) to web resolution files (usually 200kb).

The full size digital image can be printed to a 30”x40” print at 300dpi. The web resolution file was designed for use on

social networking sites, emailing to friends and family or creating slideshows. This web resolution CD does not come

with print rights. Reproducing these web files is prohibited and will not produce a quality result.

DVD Slideshows

Our DVD Slideshows are an amazing way to showcase your favorite images. Each slideshow is custom designed and set

to music. The images are transitioned to the beat of the music giving it a very polished look. You may choose as many

images as you would like for this slideshow, but please be advised the more images you choose the faster they will move

on the slideshow. We recommend the slideshows contain fewer than 40 images.

The slideshow is priced at $200. Additional copies may be purchased for $50 each.

Collages

Standard Collage

Collages may be custom designed by Teresa and are produced as 10”x20” with 3-4 images. It is best to have all

horizontal or all vertical images. 10”x20” collages with up to 4 images may be order at $25 above the chosen 10”x20”

product you have chosen. As an example a standard print collage is $94, Mounted & Sprayed is $169 etc….

Deluxe Collage

Clients interested in a deluxe collage must discuss shooting for it during the session. These collages are a phenomenal

way to showcase an individual’s personality. While it is best to only have one person featured, multiple people can be

used. These collages can only be done with images shot in studio. These collages may be ordered as a 10x20”, 15x30”

or 20x40” print. Contact studio for a custom quote (price is determined by the number of people in the collage, number

of images combined, size of print and finishing option.

Wallet Size images

Wallet images are a standard 2 ½” x 3 ½” print with 8 wallets per set. Each image must be the same in each set, but you

may choose multiple images for multiple sets. As an example in our HS Senior packages you may select a package that

has 13 sets of wallets. The client may choose up to 13 different images.

Wallets set are $25 each.

Custom Sizes & Products

Quotes on custom sizes or finishing options are available upon request. We do offer a wide variety of products from

coffee mugs, mouse pads, magnets and so much more.

Discounts

Volume Pricing Discounts

In an effort to streamline the ordering process for clients, we now are offering volume discounts. This new system

allows clients to order what they want and need without trying to fit it in to one of our packages. While it offers

substantial savings, it does not match the savings of a prepaid package. Volume Pricing Discounts are only applied to the

Ala Carte price and may not be combined with other discounts or packages.

Military Discounts

Active Duty and Veteran Discount

Teresa Lee Photography offers a 10% military discount to all active duty military personnel, veterans and their

immediate family (spouse & children). This discount may be applied to any order placed from the ala carte price.

Military Deployment Discount

A 25% discount may be applied for families of deployed (serving in Iraq or Afghanistan) military personnel. This discount

may also be applied to military personnel for sessions completed within 30 days of their deployment date (return or

departure). Contact studio for details.

To make this more clear: If a soldier has orders to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan, they may come in within 30 days of the

deployment, any time they are home on leave during the deployment or within 30 days of their return from

deployment. The family members may use the discount at anytime (from 30 days prior to deployment, thru the

deployment, and until 30 days after the return).

Pre-Paid Packages

Pre-Paid packages are the best way to save money when purchasing prints and session time. By deciding what size

images and the quantity you would like along with the amount time, we can offer a much more customized experience.

As an example, if we know you want a large wall portrait shot in a more traditional style you will have a very different

session than if you come in requesting a coffee table book.

Our most common Pre-Paid packages are for weddings, Intima and HS senior portraits, but they are offered to all clients

wishing to make the most of their experience. Each pre-paid package includes the session, so no additional charges

(except tax and shipping) are incurred.

Pre-paid packages come with a consultation that covers the type of session, where the session will be located and

clothing/backdrop options. During this consultation we will discuss in detail how you plan on displaying the images,

including room design and color. This process gives Teresa an opportunity to build a detailed plan for the shoot.

Any type of client may choose any type of package. Meaning that if a “Portrait” client wishes to purchase an Intima

package or if a HS Senior wants to purchase the items in a portrait package they may do so. The packages do not refer

to the type of posing or clothing one wears. It is only a reflection of the amount of session time and products

purchased.

You may order additional images or upgrade any finishing option from your session at your ordering appointment and

receive any additional discount in accordance with our Volume Pricing Discount.

An important note is that there can be no substitutions to the Pre-Paid Packages. Our prepaid packages are so

greatly discounted that the military discount or any other discount may not be applied.

out of area clients, via the phone. During your ordering appointment we will review your needs, how you will display

your images, what sizes, quantities, and finishing options. All images in your proofing gallery will be shown in a 6x9 ratio.

The cropping of images becomes very important. An image that is cropped to a 16x20 will look very different than the

same image in a 16x24”. We will evaluate each image with you during your appointment and make recommendations.

Our returning clients may take advantage of our online shopping cart and place their order without the need to come in

or speak on the phone (existing clients…ones that have been thru the ordering process and understand cropping and

Teresa’s editing style may not need the consultation).

Full payment is expected at the time you place your order.

State Tax

Colorado State sales tax of 7.4% is applied to all orders delivered or picked up in the state of Colorado.

Delivery options

Clients choosing to pick up their order at our studio in Colorado Springs must do so on an appointment only basis. We

will have your order packaged and ready for you at the appointed time. You will be notified when your order has arrived

and is ready for pick up.

Clients that choose to have their order direct shipped will have their orders delivered to an address of their choosing

direct from our lab. We cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses. A shipping & handling fee of 3% of the total order is applied

to all orders (price of any digital images ordered will be subtracted from the total) in the United States with a minimum

shipping and handling fee of $10. Additional fees may be applied for international shipping and expedited shipping

(overnight or two day air).
