Visiting to Thailand

Assistant Prof. OHASHI Takao went to Kasetsart University in Thailand in order to establish

collaborative work for 2 weeks. He gave a presentation in "The 5th Thai Mycological

Conference"（2010.12.7）, titled "Production and Glycoengineering of Heterologous

Glycoproteins in the Fission Yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe". He also had a seminar

and visted to "BIOTEC"; National Center For Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

(2010.12.9) and Mahidol University (2010.12.13).

Convention Center Summit PHOENIX SEAGIA RESORT, two members in Fujiyama lab., Dr.

We members in Fujiyama lab. went for trip to Onomichi, Hiroshima-Pref, Japan.

We went for a bicycle riding.

Ladies climbed the mountain 280 meter high by their bicycles.

Gentlemen completed about 30 kilo-meters by their bicycles.

Prof. Charles J. Arntzen in Arizona State University, who is majared in production of vaccine

or anti-body by plants, visited and had a meeing with resercher and students in Fujiyama

lab..He gave a lecture titled “Upstream and Downstream Manufacturing of Vaccines in

Tobacco” in 2010 International Symposium on the Frontiers of Industrial and Environmental

Biotechnology for 21st Century on Feb. 9th at Icho Kaikan in
