CHECK THE WEATHERCheck the weather forecast before you visit The McGladreyClassic and dress appropriately. Expect mild mornings andwarm, sunny afternoons, so dressing in layers is the best idea.

HAVE A PLANThere are basically two ways to watch a golf tournament.Parade style – where you pick a spot and watch the field passby – or cross-country style, where you follow a particularplayer or group around the course.

DAILY PAIRING SHEET & MAPPick up a free daily pairing sheet to find out when theplayers tee off and the order of the groups. Pairing sheetsinclude a course map and are available near the entrancesand at various locations on the tournament grounds. Checkthe scoreboards to find out who the leaders are, and wherethey are on the course. One way to tell the players from adistance is to look for their caddies, who wear vests thathave color-coded pockets and trim (green, blue, or gray),which will be indicated on the daily pairing sheet.

AUTOGRAPHSPlayers are more receptive to requests for autographs afterthey have completed their round, so don’t interrupt thembefore or during their round. A good place to catch them isat the practice area, as most players will return there afterthey finish their round.
