Background
Full Gospel Ministries is a community development program of Buikwe Full Gospel Church in Buikwe, Uganda. The program currently provides care and support to orphans and vulnerable children by establishing community based poverty reduction projects. The program began in October 2008 with over sixty community based projects. The program is currently operating 94 projects throughout Buikwe.

Program Mission To enhance the ability of NGOs and CBOs to design and implement sustainable
poverty reduction interventions for their target groups
Program Objectives Strengthening partner capacity for Resource mobilization
including concept note and proposal writing as well as marketing to potential donors
Documentation and dissemination of best practices from ongoing and past projects
Developing effective monitoring and evaluation systems for ongoing projects Stimulating collaborative research between NGOs/CBOs and the community Creating opportunities for Joint policy analysis and advocacy Establishing Knowledge Hubs at community centers

2010 Progress Achievements and progress since last status update 1. The program’s social networking website on Ning
(http://fullgospelministries.ning.com ) was facing closure, but later upgraded to Ning Plus. Thanks to Dr. Simon Harding of Chronos Group made the payments for this upgrade for the site to stay online
2. Completed market research in Kampala for Chronos Workflow Platform (CWP) by teaming up with Real Life Systems at Real Life Church and Perfect Multiple Engineering and Consultancy Services Ltd in Kampala
3. Received online demos for CWP made by Attila Nemeti4. 9 projects in the program have been registered with Buikwe District Local
Government as community based organizations and more 10 projects are in the process of registering
5. Two registered community based organizations (Kisa kya Mukama Hotel Project and Tukolerere Wamu Development Group) have been officially launched by the Uganda Government member of parliament Honorable David Mutebi
6. Received Grant from Hon. Mutebi to facilitate registration of projects 7. Linked with Caezaria Complex Public Library at Ajiija-Buikwe a resource center
that has helped the program to have internet access in Buikwe8. Seven (7) business plans have been developed for 7 member organizations of the
program9. Have reserved the name and secured articles of association in the process of
registering a limited liability company for the program

Delays and problems
The program faced a “digital demise” in March through July 2010 with the closure of the children’s site on Ning and the crash of ICT services at BFGC
Chronos Workflow Platform (CWP) has been delayed to launch in Uganda
No new international development partners and child sponsors yet

BFGC will be recruiting more 60 community based organizations to the program next year to form a network of 150 community based organizations throughout Buikwe
