October 2007• Teradata Corporation spins off from NCR • Teradata employees engaged for inputMarch 2008• Input led to the creation of Teradata Cares May 2008• Program launches to all employeesJanuary 2009• Volunteer efforts in 8 cities in 3 countriesJanuary 2010• Efforts grow to 35 cities in 14 countries

> Helping the Environment– Supporting sustainability through conservation, restoration, and
beautification programs
> Strengthening Neighborhoods and Communities– By providing a framework to empower our valued associates in
addressing needs in their own locations and areas of personal interest

Teradata Supports FIRST• Support of 16 high school teams in California,
Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina• Sponsorship of Ohio and Georgia FIRST Lego
League state programs • Teradata FIRST Scholarships awarded to
graduating seniors in STEM fields
Additional STEM Programs
• Change the Equation – sponsor of US national
initiative
• Computer Literacy/Education programs in Egypt,
India, Pakistan and Poland
• Science Programs, Fairs & Girls in IT programs

> Employees receive 1 day per quarter to volunteer
• Volunteer Grants
> Dollars for Doers - Volunteer 50+ hours to apply for a grant
> Community Service Grants – Teams of 5 qualify for a project grant
• Annual Days of Caring – Every August
> Employees are invited to engage in local community service
> 2009 results - 800 employees completed 55 projects in 25 cities
• Celebration of Caring Awards
> Outstanding Volunteerism is recognized annually
