New website As you know our new website is operational since February 2nd, 2010. More than 80 % of the visitors, who rated the website, score Good or better (Very Good or Excellent). We noticed also an increase in visitors. During February the website was visited 1508 times (784 unique visitors) and on an average 7 page views per visit. In the Alexa ranking the website moved up from rank 11M to rank 6M. There is still a lot to gain here, but progress has been made ☺! Due to other priorities little progress was made with new contents, but there is more to come!

Changes in Registration Process Together with the new website a new Registration Module has become operational. This means that the following changes apply :

- Events for which attendees have to register can be seen on http://www.pmi-netherlands-chapter.org/index.php/events/event-registration - For every event it is now possible to have a maximum of attendees set (shown on the page) - If you register for an event you will get a confirmation by e-mail. - In case you like to bring a guest to the event, please fill in an extra registration form. This will help to

manage the maximum number of attendees. - If this maximum has been reached a new registration will be placed upon the Waiting List, again this is

communicated by an e-mail confirmation. In case of a cancellation the first one in the Waiting List will be registered as participant and will receive a confirmation of his/her registration.

PMP/CAPM coaching class Feb-Apr-2010 The 1st PMP Coaching Class has been started and it will last until mid April. In one of the coming issues of this newsletter we will come back with some impressions.

Bringing down the number of no shows for an event Sometimes we are confronted with a relative high number of unknown no shows for an event. Of course this gives a not so positive impression to the company hosting the event (catering etc.). As a test we will send approximately one week before an event a reminder for this event to the registered attendees. But we would gratefully appreciate if every one would obey the following rules :

- register only if you seriously plan to attend the event - in case you become aware that you will not be able to attend after you have registered please cancel

your registration by sending your cancellation to [email protected] asap This will help to inform the hosting company as good as we can about the number of people that will attend the event. It also allows us to let people attend the event who are on the Waiting List. We are currently investigating the possibility of sending along with the confirmation of a registration an attachment which you can use to make an entry in your Outlook diary with the data of the event.
