Situated in Leicester, our mission is to be a truly international uni versity, distinguished by life-changing research, dynamic international partnerships, vibrant links with business, and a commitment to excellence in teaching, learning and the student experience. There will be a late afternoon and evening of social events for you to drop into after you have checked into your hotel including: 15.30 Welcome tea party hosted by De Montfort University 16.30 Guided walk around the new Leicester Cultural Quarter 17.30 Reception hosted by PAL (Performing Arts Leicester) with Deputy Mayor Councillor Rory Palmer at The Exchange Bar, Rutland Street, Leicester. Performing Arts Leicester is a partnership of 20 organisations who are working on promoting Leicester & Leicestershire through the performing arts.
