F A L L 2 0 1 1Gazing through the open window of an autumn afternoon, the mingled conversations, the rustling of leaves, the falling of footsteps in the gravelled sidewalks… all of these elements give to our décor the soft atmosphere of a village within a city.
PARIS ... THE PALAIS ROYAL ...
This tale profoundly inspires the brand Yves Delorme for the second act of the year 2011. Theatrical domain by excellence, ideal observatory of the human comedy, the Palais Royal holds within its walls the memories of its splendid past. It is a place of culture and beauty that demonstrates that we are intimately constructed upon the foundations of history. At the heart of this décor, Nature appears as a constant source of inspiration. Yves Delorme offers an interpretation of Nature in the wilderness and in a stylized manner ... both absolutely poetic.

The extravagant beauty of this design refers to one of the most charismatic actresses of Moliere’s era: La Baupré. The Indian paisley pattern, classically worn as turbans and shawls, is both feminine and masculine and perfectly illustrates the dramatic art of the theatre.

Borrowing the identity of the actor of Moliere’s guild, Bellerose represents an abounding and cultivated microcosm of the theatre. The juxtaposition of large imaginary flowers and stylized cherry blossoms in perspective gives this design its visual audacity, recalling the extravagance of the theatre.

This design evokes the notion of a cocoon symbolized by a mass of pure and silent white, corresponding to an interior space. A band of vibrant colour enlivens this space of subtle and classic hues.
