Looking for an avenue to let your active tot run and play? We‟ve got the opportunity for you!

McQueen Park Activity Center is pleased to provide a clean, safe, indoor play area for you and your

child to have some fun. Mats, music, parachutes, hoops, tunnels and more will be available for you &

your little munchkin to climb up, down, over and through. This is a great way for your children to

socialize with other kids and learn to share and take turns! Wiggle Worm Adventures is designed for

children 5 years and younger.

Adult supervision is a required at all times. Maximum of 4 children per adult.

Santa will be at the Gilbert Community Center. Choose what time you

would like to have breakfast and then use the rest of the time to visit with

Santa and make crafts with the elves. We will be serving pancakes and other wonderful breakfast treats. One

picture per family will be printed that day. Parents are welcome to bring

your own camera. Every child will also receive a „Treat Bag‟. This event will run from 9 -11:30 am. Every person attending must be

registered. Space is limited, so register early; this event does sell out.

· If you are on a waitlist for a class, and an opening becomes available, you will be contacted by the Community Services Department. · Community Services Department is committed to being fair and equitable to all participants, therefore we are unable to make exceptions to any class policies. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. · The Town of Gilbert has the right to cancel, postpone, combine classes, change rooms and/or instructors at any time.

A $25 service charge will be assessed on returned checks.

A scholarship program is available to help economically disadvantaged children. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship for your child(ren), please call the Gilbert CAP office at (480) 892-5331. They are located at 1140 N. Gilbert Rd. Ste. 109, Gilbert, AZ 85234.

• For your child's safety, children must be accompanied into the facility as well as to and from the classroom. • Participants should dress appropriately according to the type of class they are registered for. Tights/leotards and or loose clothing is recommended for dance/movement classes. Closed-toe shoes are a must for all classes. • Parents of children wearing diapers or pull-ups must remain in the facility during their child's class. • Parent/Tot classes-Parents do not need to register, but do need to be present in the classroom. Only registered chil-dren are allowed in the classroom. • Only registered participants may remain in the classroom once class has started. Parents, family members and friends are asked to wait outside the classroom quietly while class is in session. If a participant is in need of a caregiver to remain in the classroom during class hours, prior approval must be obtained by the program coordinator before registration. • A participant will be allowed to register for a class as long as the participant reaches the required age anytime during the session, unless otherwise stated in the class description. • Photos & Videos of Participants: The Town of Gilbert often takes pictures of participants in our programs. Some of these photos may be used for advertising in our publications and or other types of advertising. By registering you are granting permission to the Town of Gilbert to utilize these photos/videos as marketing and promotional material. • Please Note: Class Instructor names are subject to change from what is published. ABC MUSIC & ME-PARENT/TOT Come sing, dance, make music and learn! New theme and materials each session. Equestrian HORSEBACK RIDING-PARENT/TOT This class offers horseback riding for toddlers. Parents and children will be taught basic safety around horses with brushing and petting time. Parents are taught how to lead the horse, while the children learn balance on a horse. Parents and children will also learn how to walk, stop, and turn the horse. Teacher to student ratio is 1/4. FREE STORYTIME ADVENTURES WITH BEAR

Grab your best stuffed friend and join us for stories, songs and fun. Each

month we will set out on a new adventure through the pages of our books, creating story inspired crafts and celebrating with silly songs that may just make us get up and dance. Each month will feature a new story,

inspired by a monthly theme. All ages and walk ins are welcome!

Santa will be at the Gilbert Community Center. Choose what time you

would like to have breakfast and then use the rest of the time to visit with

Santa and make crafts with the elves. We will be serving pancakes and other wonderful breakfast treats. One

Looking for a safe, enriching place for your child to go to during the after

school hours?! Trained recreation staff are on-site to promote a healthy,

positive recreation environment to ensure the safety and enjoyment of its

participants! Kids will enjoy sports & fitness activities, games, arts & crafts

and community volunteer opportunities. Snack time will help boost their

energy levels before winding down with homework time. This program is

designed for school aged children 7-12 years old and is available following

Gilbert Public School (GPS) days between 3:45-6:00pm and 12:45-6:00pm

PARENT’S DAY OUT

Need a day to finish Christmas shopping, finish wrapping gifts, or just a quiet meal without the kids before all of

the Holiday Festivities begin? Then have your children join us at the Community Center for a day of fun and a

movie. The movie will be the “The Santa Clause “. There will be popcorn, ice treats, crafts, and even Santa

handing out Candy Canes and hearing what your children would like for Christmas. We will watch your children

and keep them busy from 10am-2pm. The cost will be $15 for children who pre-registered and $20 for walk in

children. The ages will be from 5-10 yrs of age. There will be at least two staff members certified in CRP/First Aid

HOLIDAY CHEER CAMP Join our very own ASU Spirit team member at the Holiday Cheer Camp. We will focus on stunting, basic floor gymnastics and a spirit routine. If so, you can register them for the Daily Pit Stop where they will be able to re-fuel their bodies before the afternoon session of Kamp. At 12pm, when the morning session of Kamp ends, your child will be taken to another room. There they can eat their lunch, play board games, and socialize in a supervised setting. TRACK AND CONDITIONING CLINIC This clinic focuses on the fundamental core work of Track and Cross Country running. A great way to keep your endurance up during the winter / Holiday break. Clinic will focus on strengthening, stretching, flexibility, fitness, and coordination. You'll leave this clinic with increased running knowledge, new friends, and an enhanced love for the sport. Come and join the East Valley’s most exciting and energetic program of Adult Sports Leagues. Join over 48 Adult Men’s Basketball Teams. Register your team for one of our many divisions. If you don't have a team, feel free to sign-up on the unattached player’s list on the website. Team managers refer to this list for new

players to add to their team. Or you can create your own team with the list.

Divisions are determined by skill level and playing experience. Teams will play 7 regular season games and end the league with a single elimination tournament that includes gift card prizes. Season begins week of January 22nd and continues through early April.

COOKING 101 In your cooking class, we will provide easy to follow recipes that are fun to make and fast to put together. We will also learn basic kitchen safety tips. RECREATION BOWLING Individuals with special needs 8 years and older are encouraged to join in the fun of bowling. Taking part in this sport provides individuals the chance to develop physical fitness, self-confidence and build strong relationships. Those needing extra supervision must provide his/her own aide.
