Shelter Rentals

There are 35 shelters and over 300 picnic tables located through-out the Park. Shelter reservations can be made until noon on the Friday before the outing date and secured with full payment. Shelters can be held for no more than 10 days without payment. Rates are based on shelter type by location and demand. Picnic supplies, ice and beverages are available for purchase at the Boat Dock.

The Jones Pavilion Rental

The Pavilion is available for group and corporate meetings, weddings, receptions, reunions, and other events. The Pavilion can seat up to 200 people comfortably. There are 25 - 60” round tables with seating of 8 chairs each and 10 - 8’ rectangular tables available. It is equipped with heating and air conditioning, rest-room facility, kitchenette, attached covered patio and a gazebo.

The Pavilion closes at 10:00 PM Sun-Thu and midnight Fri-Sat. You must be out of the building at closing time and off park prop-erty 5 minutes after Pavilion closing times.

Warren County Armco Park does not endorse a specific caterer or banquet vendor. When you have selected a caterer or vendor for your outing, you must obtain their Certificate of Insurance Form and forward it to the Park Office prior to your outing date.

Set-up Service Price: $15.00

All set-up service orders must be placed 14 days prior to the event date. Canned beer and soft drink set-up service orders include ice, tub and delivery to shelter. Draft beer set-up service orders include ice, tub, cups, tap and delivery to shelter. Shelter or Pavilion Rental agreements are required for set-up service.

It offers four fields with lights and scoreboards. There are newly renovated restrooms. A full concession is included along with our field room and upper deck. Park crew will provide initial set up and access to field equipment during the day.

Practice fields: $50 per hour

Game fields: $50 (2 hour minimum)

Boat Dock & Lake Operation

Our lake covers approximately 110 acres and is 1-1/4 miles in length. The Boat Dock offers a wide variety of artificial and live bait, fishing supplies, soft drinks, snacks and beer. **Fishing Rods now available to rent**

Boating Rules

All personal and rental Boat Captains must leave their driver’s license or state issued identification with the boat dock attendant for safety and watercraft accountability purposes.

All personal and rental Boat Captains are responsible for their passengers and the actions of their passengers and ensure that all on board have dedicated personal floatation devices.

All passengers under the age of 9 must wear floatation devices. All boats must be equipped with proper safety equipment.

Guests must be 16 years of age or have valid ID and/or state driver’s license to rent a fishing boat.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the lake.

All boats must be off the lake at designated times or at the discretion of the attendant on duty.

No boats may be beached or pulled up on shore.

No outboard motors may be used on the lake.

Only licensed watercraft may be used on the water.

All personal and rental watercraft are subject to the Rules and Regulations of ODNR Division of Watercraft.

Pedal boats must remain in sight of Boat Dock at all times.

Fishing Rules

Bass and all other fish not listed below must be released back into the lake if caught. A Daily, Seasonal or Annual Fishing Pass is required to fish in the park.

Fishing is catch-and-release except for the following:

Crappie: 8” or larger, 15/day

Walleye: 16” or larger, 4/day

Channel Catfish: Any size, 6/day

Flathead Catfish: Under 18”, 1/day

Grass Carp: Under 18”, 6/day

We reserve the right to check all Livewells and Coolers

Park Rules

1. Pets are permitted in the Park on leashes only.

2. No swimming is permitted in the lake.

3. No carry-in alcohol allowed. The consumption of alcohol is permitted only if purchased from Park concessions. This is a State Law.

4. No person shall operate any type of motor vehicle at speeds greater than posted.

5. No person shall destroy, damage, remove, mutilate, or deface any building, structure, sign, tree, shrub, playground equipment, or other Park property.

6. No person shall vend, peddle, or distribute any type of merchandise without expressed written permission of the Park Director.

7. Discharging of any type of firearm is strictly prohibited.

8. No Hunting or trapping is permitted.

9. Cart operators must be 18 years of age or older or have a valid driver’s license.

2021

Warren County Armco Park offers an 18-hole FootGolf course within its 18-hole executive golf course.

General Rules

Everyone must sign in at the Pro Shop to play

Each player must have a separate set of clubs & ball

No practice on greens, tees, or the course at any time

Range balls are not to be used on the course for play

Appropriate attire must be worn while on the course

Adults must accompany children under the age of 12

Golf/FootGolf Course Operations

Warren County Armco Park offers a scenic golf facility with its meticulously maintained 18-hole executive course. The course features a challeng-ing 3100 yard layout, driving range and practice chipping/putting green.

The Pro Shop offers basic golf merchandise, soft

drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and beer.

Park Description

Warren County Armco Park is nestled among the rolling hills of Warren County, located less than 4 miles west of the City of Lebanon near the Warren County Airport in Turtlecreek Township - Lebanon, OH. Warren County Armco Park is situated on historic property originally occupied by the Shaker religious community and lo-cated between Shaker Run Golf Course and Otterbein Community. This 311-acre park was acquired through a cooperative effort involving the Warren County Commis-sioners, Warren County Park District, Turtlecreek Town-ship, Otterbein Community and assisted by a grant from ODNR for public recreation. The park offers an 18-hole golf & FootGolf course, a softball complex, access to a 110-acre lake for fishing and boating, pavilion rental (enclosed with seating accommodations for 200) tennis, pickleball, basketball and sand volleyball courts, horse shoe pits, corn- hole, playscape, natural areas, shelters, restrooms, conces-sion stands, picnic tables, grills and hiking/walking trails.

Recreational Equipment

The recreational equipment rental service allows individuals to rent Basketballs, Volleyballs, Soccer balls, Softballs, Portable Bases, Kick-balls, Horseshoes, Bocce Balls, Pickle Ball Pad-dles, Corn-hole equipment and Fishing Rods can be obtained at the customer service counter in the Boat Dock for $5 per item.

Picnic supplies are also available for purchase.

Please note that rental equipment must be secured with state-issued identification and a $20 cash deposit .

Softball / Volleyball / Cornhole Complex

The Softball / Volleyball / Cornhole Complex offers Spring, Summer and Fall Adult leagues and many tournaments through out the year. Other features include two lighted sand courts, four lighted

fenced in ball diamonds, 300 foot fences, large concession stand that serves soft drinks, sandwiches, snacks and beer. Has professional umpires/referee's, posted weekly stand-ings, competitive team placement, hot-line for rain-outs, Electronic Scoreboards with timers, restrooms, covered patios, security staff, children's playground and

New this year is an 18-Hole Disc Golf Course - Armco Blue - intended to chal-lenge. Along with the beautiful views in the park - there is one par 5 at 1084 ft and multiple par 4s, large concrete tee pads and great signage to navigate the course. Disc golf equipment is available in the pro shop including snacks,

drinks and alcoholic beverages that you can take with you while you play your game.

Volunteering Opportunities

The Warren County Park District and Friends of The Park are looking for people interested in joining their efforts in support of the Park District. Scout troops, 4-H Clubs, community groups, businesses, retirees, senior centers, families, and individuals are encouraged to donate their time and talent toward making our parks the best they can be. Opportunities include planting and landscaping, trail maintenance, bird house building, event planning, fund raising, help with mailings, nature guides, park ambassadorship and communications.
