Chairperson’s Message
by Jenny Samek
I’m very excited to be your new Remodelers Council Chairperson! We had a great turn-
out for the Christmas party at Las Margaritas, and I was impressed by everyone’s Spanish knowledge. Seeing how quickly everyone answered the trivia questions shows what a competitive spirit our council has!We also have a very generous and giving group. We managed to collect 107 Dolls, 84 toys with wheels and 36 other toys for children in need. We also brought in 67 pair of gloves, 52 hats, and 5 scarves that were distributed to six different Lincoln elementary schools. These will be given out by teachers to children in need. So many kids will be warmer this winter. Thank you to everyone who donated. Our January meeting will be on January 12 at Schneider Electric (formerly Square D Company). I hope you can join us for a tour of their facilities. I work up the street and have always been curious to see what they do there.I want to wish everyone a very healthy and prosperous 2011!Happy New Year!
