We represent Ontario’s Consolidated Municipal Service Managers (CMSMs) and District Social Service Administration Boards (DSSABs), who plan, manage and deliver human services on behalf of Ontario’s municipalities.

We support municipalities in the delivery of human services to over 2 million Ontarians.

We believe that investing in people makes sense. Together, CMSMs and DSSABs share a mandate to bring about positive, progressive change in the areas of employment support services, social housing, homelessness prevention, income support services, and early learning and child care. In doing so, OMSSA members in cities, regions, counties and northern municipalities across Ontario every day make key decisions in these policy and program areas.

aboutOMSSAThe Ontario Municipal Social Services Association (OMSSA) is the collective voice of human services staff working at the municipal level in Ontario.
