ExperienceInitial five country pilot has provided valuable experience in

designing and launching large scale statistical capacity building projects

Pilot experience suggests NSDS process is robust and flexible – but moving from strategy to implementation is not straightforward

Time scale needed for project preparation and intensity of support are great in difficult circumstances
