DEL TURA H. O. A., Inc. Board of Directors Special Meeting

Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in the Del Tura Clubhouse- HOA Office

I. Call to Order: The October 3, 2012 meeting was called to order by President Joyce Cuffe. In attendance at the workshop were Joyce Cuffe, Bart DeGraaf, Ruth Ann Blevins, Betty Wright, Jay Flanagan, Tony Oliver, Ron Raming, Gloria Buzanis and Helene Glasson.

II. Minutes of the Previous Meeting:

The minutes of the previous meeting were not available to be read.

III New Business

Determining a new Statutory Committee for 2012-3013: The meeting was held primarily to review the recommendations for members to serve on the 2012-2013

Statutory Committee. Ruth Ann Blevins was asked and has agreed to serve as the Committee Chairperson. Nominated for committee members were Dennis Cottini, Gloria Buzanis, Joyce Cuffe, Gerry Benjamins, Bob Miller, Bob Meyer, Rich Symes, Steve Lafreniere, Gail Ventura, Jim Stenzel, Kevin Wilcox and Betty Wright.

Ruth Ann announced that the committee may consist of a Chairperson, four members and two alternates. Helene Glasson announced that Dennis Cottini has withdrawn his name from consideration; Gloria

Buzanis requested that her name be withdrawn as well. There was considerable discussion about the candidates as a number of them have served in the past and provided great leadership. However, it was suggested that we consider some of our newer residents who have not previously served on the board or on a board committee.

A motion was made by Bart DeGraaf that the new 2012-2013 Statutory Committee be made up of Ruth

Ann Blevins, chairperson, Kevin Wilcox, Jim Stenzel, Gail Ventura and Steve Lafreniere as committee members with Betty Wright and Joyce Cuffe alternates. The motion was seconded by Jay Flanagan. There were no dissenting votes and the motion passed.

Ruth Ann Blevins was asked to contact the committee members and confirm their willingness to

participate. Joyce Cuffe and Bart DeGraaf were asked to contact the other candidates to advise them of the board’s decision.

There was no additional business. A motion was made by Jay Flanagan and seconded by Ruth Ann Blevins to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
