available from 6A to 1200A, is an extension of our Matrix line of harmonic fi lters

and is compatible with generator systems. Using

Adaptive Passive Technology (Patent Pending), the

Matrix AP achieves better THID performance over

a wider load range. This design removes the need

for resistors and utilizes high current capacitors on

units above 103A and a single three phase capacitor

on units 103A and below. This signifi cantly reduces

product wiring and increases product reliability. As

with all Matrix fi lters, a contactor option is available to remove the capacitors from

the circuit. Components are designed to be fi eld serviceable with standard component

layout for ease of fi eld wiring.

secure wireless into critical mobile machine and material

handling systems.

These new capabilities provide seamless high speed

EtherNet/IP connections for machines and platforms

traveling long distances in assembly plants, crane

systems, automated guided vehicles and mining.

The secure, high speed wireless network reduces project

costs, while improving productivity by eliminating

mechanical festooning, rails and slip rings for economical and reliable mobile

EtherNet/IP applications.

Applications include wireless Producer/Consumer PLC/PAC networking, wireless

remote I/O, wireless safety I/O and mobile worker connectivity.

CM44x Liquiline Series Multichannel Analytical Transmitters

Liquiline CM44x is a digital multiparameter controller for process monitoring

and control in industrial and environmental applications. The modular four-wire

transmitter is available as one/two channel,

four channel and six/eight-channel versions

and can be extended at any time. One controller

for all Memosens protocol parameters: pH/ORP,

conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity free

chlorine, SAC and nitrate. Open communication

standards simplify the integration into your process.

Quick sensor exchange can be accomplished

with precalibrated Memosens sensors. Intelligent software recognizes sensors

automatically allowing plug and play for all Memosens sensors without performing

a system reset. Its ease of use and maintenance guarantees operational safety. Our

complete Memosens platform supports you in achieving your goals.

Promass 100 Coriolis Flowmeter

Endress+Hauser’s new Promass 100 compact profi le Coriolis fl owmeter is capable of

0.05% of rate mass fl ow accuracy. Mass or volume fl ow, density, reference density,

temperature and viscosity are control variable options. Communication

outputs are EtherNet/IP and Modbus RS-485, 4-20mA HART and

pulse/frequency. The Promass 100 includes an Add-On Profi le (AOP)

off ering customers seamless integration into the Rockwell

Automation PlantPAx process automation system.

Promass 100 can be commissioned from the control

room via digital fi eldbus communications link or

locally via any web browser by embedded webserver.

Webserver functionality includes full parameter access,

upload/download of parameter settings, troubleshooting

and diagnostics. On-board diagnostics and HistoROM ensure process

safety and plant availability. Stainless steel or aluminum enclosures

allow installation in a variety of applications.

INSPIRE YOUNG MINDS™

BOOTH 950

FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and

Technology), a not-for-profi t organization, was founded

in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen. The organization’s vision

is to create a world where science and technology are

celebrated and where young people can dream of becoming

science and technology heroes.

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a unique varsity sport

of the mind designed to help high school-aged young people

discover how interesting and rewarding the life of engineers

and researchers can be. FRC challenges teams of young minds

and their mentors to solve a common problem in a six-week

timeframe using a standard “kit of parts” and a common set of

rules. FIRST redefi nes winning for these students because they

are rewarded for excellence in design, demonstrated team

spirit, gracious professionalism and maturity, and the ability

to overcome obstacles. Scoring the most points is secondary.

FIRST also off ers the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), a more

aff ordable and accessible program for high school students,

the FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) for 9- to 14-year-olds and the

Junior FIRST LEGO League (FLL) for 6- to 9-year-olds. Teams

from the FRC, FTC and FLL programs will be at the booth

demonstrating their robots.

You are sure to be engaged as students showcase

their FIRST robots in the FIRST Automation Fair

booth. Among all the sophisticated automation

products and systems you’ll see in the convention

center, the FIRST booth will surely remind you

why you were inspired to become an engineer.

UNIVERSITY RELATIONS

Rockwell Automation provides value off ering a broad range

of partnering opportunities. The University Relations program

is an extension of our partnerships, where relationships are

built with selected universities that off er engineering, business

and technology curriculum. Students gain exposure to

Rockwell Automation technology and its application, helping

them become better candidates for future jobs in industry.

During Automation Fair, students get to see a wide variety of

products and technology and attendees can learn more about

the degree programs off ered by of many of the universities.
