1.0 Introduction

This document explains the preregistration process for the 2012 ECK African seminar to be hosted by

Ghana.

2.0 Modes of Registration

The preregistration can be done using either of two options:

- Option 1: Online Registration

- Option 2: Paper Registration

2.1 Online Registration

Online registration is done through the Eckankar Ghana website. To access the registration page visit the

main website www.eck-ghana.org or the seminar page www.eck-ghana.org/seminar or

www.seminar.eck-ghana.org directly.

The online registration option involves two steps:

Step 1: Online Registration

- Visit the seminar page given above and follow the instructions to fill the form and submit.

- Ensure your details are correct and provide your email address if available.

- On submission a unique code, the requested donation and the payment details will be

displayed.

- Click on the Print button displayed on the page to print your registration details.

- If you cannot print the page, copy your registration code. Your code is displayed boldly on the

page. The code starts and ends with G. Example: G12202001G

- Ensure you don't lose your code. If you provided an email address during registration an email

with your registration details will be sent to you.

- If you lose your code, for any reason, visit the contact page

www.eck-ghana.org/seminar/contact , fill in your registration details and request that your

code to be sent to you. Optionally, you can send the request with your registration details to

seminar@eck-ghana.org.

- Next is the payment of the donation as explained in step 2.

Step 2: Payment of Donation

- Payment of the required donation can be done in three ways:

o Deposit through the Bank.

o Deposit through Money Transfer.

o Direct payment at the Ghana Regional Finance Office, Temple of ECK, Accra, Ghana.

- On submission of the online form, the bank details will be displayed.

- Pay the donation, free of charges, to any of the bank accounts provided or via money transfer.

- If you are in Ghana you may pay by direct deposit to any of the bank accounts provided.

- If you live outside Ghana, you may pay through Ecobank Rapid transfer, which is available at any

Ecobank Branch within Africa, to the bank account provided or through Money Transfer.

- If you live outside Africa, you may pay in USD free of all charges through International Bank

Transfer to the respective bank account provided or through Money Transfer.

Notes

- Please make sure your code is part of your name on the deposit form as provided. The code will

be used to validate your payment and should NOT be omitted.

- If the space provided is too small for your code and your name, fill in the code and add your first

name or surname.

- Allow 7 days after your payment for processing.

2.1.1 Online Registration – Bulk Payment

This option is provided to enable payment of bulk donations for individual online registrations made.

Use this option when you make a bulk bank deposit or money transfer for two or more online

registrations.

It involves three steps:

Step 1: Online Registration

- Fill the Registration Form and submit for each participant/family individually online as

explained in section 2.1, step 1.

- Print the form and/or Note the code for each registration.

Step 2: Bulk Donation Payment

- Deposit the bulk amount (total of all individual registrations), free of charges, into the bank

account provided or through money transfer in step 1.

- If you are in Ghana you may pay by direct deposit to any of the bank accounts provided.

- If you live outside Ghana, you may pay through Ecobank Rapid transfer, which is available at any

Ecobank Branch within Africa, to the bank account provided or through Money Transfer.

- If you live outside Africa, you may pay in USD free of all charges through International Bank

Transfer to the respective bank account provided or through Money Transfer.

Notes

- Enter your full name on the deposit form. You do not need to include any code. Your full name

will be used to validate the payment.

- Allow 7 days after your payment for processing.

Step 3: Email Payment Notification

This last step involves sending a notification email for the bulk deposit made.

The notification email should indicate the following:

- Your name (Depositor’s name, exactly as filled on the deposit form).

- The codes of all individual registrations.

- The total amount deposited.

- Your contact number and email.

- The Bank Account into which the deposit was made.

- The Details for collecting the funds if you used Money Transfer (Test Answers, codes, etc).

This can be done in two ways:

Option 1: Website Contact Page

- Visit www.eck-ghana.org/seminar/contact

- Fill the form indicating the details specified above.

Option 2: Direct Email

- Send an email to seminar@eck-ghana.org indicating all the details specified above.

2.1.3 Checking your Online Registration Status

When your donation is received, your registration status will be updated online. A text message and/or

an email (if you provided an email address) will be sent to you.

You may check your registration status from the website:

- Visit the seminar preregistration page and click on the Preregistration Checker link from the

menu on the left of the page.

- Optionally, you can visit https://www.eck-ghana.org/seminar/prereg2_checker.php

- Fill your First & Middle Name, Surname and your Code.

o Note: Fill your First & Middle Name and your Surname the same way you did for the

registration.

- Click on Submit. Your registration details and the status will be displayed on the page.

2.1.3.1 Online Registration Status Information

The status of your registration will display one of the following:

1. CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED

2. YOUR PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED OR PROCESSED

3. THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING. WE WILL CONTACT YOU FOR CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE

- CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED

This means your donation has been successfully processed.

2.2 Paper Registration

This option involves filling a paper form. You can download this form from the seminar website.

The paper registration option involves two steps:

Step 1: Filling the Form

- Fill the paper registration form

- Ensure your details are correct and provide your email address if available.

Step 2: Form Submission and Donation Payment

- Submit your form and your donation at the Ghana Regional Finance Office, Temple of ECK,

Accra, Ghana

3.0 Registration Notes

To avoid delays in processing your registration, please ensure the following:

- Fill the form accurately (Names, Phone number, Initiation, Country, etc).

- Provide your email if available.

- Ensure that the equivalent amount of your bank payment is equal to the Ghana Cedi donation

requested.

Visitors have a separate online registration form. Please fill the form as accurately as possible.
