Dressed to Impress Dressed to Impress is a set of four carved wooden children’s clothing items. Designed to be reminiscent of the clothing many Indigenous children were dressed in for photo opportunities while in missions, homes/orphanages and institutions, the silhouette acts as a contrast to that lifestyle. Price: $6650 Chris Mills-Kelly Stonemason Daniel Gill is well known in the industry for his creativity and skill. He has more than fifteen years experience and specialises in restoring historic buildings and monument carving. Saddle Made from Helidon sandstone, Daniel chose to make an object that would normally be made by a totally different type of craftsman. Andrew’s interest in art is mixed with a passion for all things mechanical. He enjoys working with machinery off-casts and scrap metal, combining them with timber.

Valet ChairThis wooden chair is made from green sticks and a slab of timber and has been created in a rustic style. The privet branches have been peeled and worked into shape with a draw knife and shaving horse.

Kylie’s passion for mosaic came from a desire to blend the septic tank into her garden. She regularly creates intricate detail in larger artworks including framed hanging pieces, sculpture and installation. Kylie BourneLyn admits she is obsessed with glass art. Her distinctive “painterly” technique uses many different coloured and textured glass pieces. She enjoys working with this multi-faceted medium as it is always challenging.The InterloperThis copperfoiling piece features finch birds inside a cage with glass leaves trailing down the chain. This piece has been made using traditional methods of manufacture and is constructed of quality English and Australian leather.Price: $5980

Ray began woodworking about 26 years ago and enjoys using the natural beauty of Australian native timbers to create sculptures which enhance the shape and grain of the original piece.

Desert Splendour

Desert Splendour has been created from Jacaranda, using carving in the round. It is coloured for effect.

Ray NewtonSue has been painting most of her life, but now concentrates on silk painting and dyeing, and producing silk scarves for her business Eyzer Designs. Her work combines Batik silk painting and stitching.

Motion
