Nov 29-30 & Dec 1Performing Arts BuildingInformation - 435-635-2609

Come cheer on teams trying to “chuck” a pumpkin the furthest! There will also be fun activities for the kids to participate in as well as food, music, and entertainment for the family. If you’ve never seen a pumpkin “chucked” then come on out and see what you’ve been missing!

The 2nd annual pumkin festiveal with trick or treating inside the community center sponosored by local Hurricane businesses. Games and entertainment will also be part of the event.

Come join us in celebrating the birth of our great Nation. Beginning with the Freedom Parade and flag raising ceremony in the morning, and ending with baseball and softball games and a fireworks display in the evening. There are activities for the entire family including a Patriotic Program, carnival games, giant slip and slide, Swamp Fox Challenge obstacle course, R/C races, Freedom Exhibit, bike jump competition, swimming pool activities, and an ATV rodeo. Activities take place at the Community Center, City Pool, and the Spilsbury Sports Complex.

The 14th Annual Peach Days, is once again drawing near! Be sure to bring your appetite. Food booths with all your favorite mouth-watering options will be on hand. Peach Days wouldn't be complete without the rodeo, entertainment, parade, Pioneer Corner, 12K Fun Run, and the Peach Cook-Off. The Hurricane Canal Trek, fiddling contest, quilt show, and a wide variety of booths displaying commercial and homemade goods will also be included. The traditional displays, always a staple of the event, will be featured in the Hurricane Community Center. Plan now to prepare an entry. Categories include home arts, fine arts, garden, and baked or bottled goods.

The Hurricane Valley Christmas Tree Festival has run as an annual event in Hurricane City, Utah for the past 30 years. This year the Festival is three days of Home Town fun and entertainment. The community joins in creating and displaying beautiful trees. The local talent provides continual entertainment. There will be a ceremonial Christmas Tree lighting, a Charlie Brown Christmas 5K Fun Run/Walk and the children will be delighted when Santa arrives for breakfast on Saturday morning.
