KEKULI CAFÉ - “DON’T PANIC...WE HAVE BANNOCK!”

I have the great privilege of being Mayor of the beautiful Town of Osoyoos. Osoyoos truly is a very special place with very special people.

The warmth of our people reflects the warmth of our weather. Our legendary hot summers have always been an attraction for generations of families and our mild winters now attract “snowbirds” seeking respite from harsher weather elsewhere. Our spring and fall season are perfect for enjoying our numerous festivals and events.

I hope that you will find what you are looking for. Over the past few years our town has grown and our services now reflect a community that appreciates the good things in life – award winning wine, a bounty of fresh fruit and vegetables, a healthy, active lifestyle and a great climate. Our world-class attractions, unique ecology and diversity of places to stay, make Osoyoos a “must see” in British Columbia.

Whether relocating to this region, returning for another visit or arriving for the first time, you will discover that you are most welcome here.

On behalf of Council and Staff, I would like to take this opportunity to offer Canada’s Warmest Welcome to everyone attending the 2012 Aboriginal Tourism Conference in Osoyoos.

Warm regards,Mayor Stu Wells
