The Prince William County Park Authority believes in enriching camp activities that encourage social and emotional growth, promote respect and kindness toward others. Our camp programs allow children the opportunity to try different things, develop new friendships, explore the outdoors, kick start anactive lifestyle and most of all to HAVE FUN!

We are excited to share our Camp line up with you andlook forward to another fun and exciting summer!

We take pride inhiring qualified and trained camp

staff. Each camp Counselor is at least 18 years old and has successfully completed PWCPA’s pre-season

and specific on-site training. Criminal background checks are conducted on all staff affiliated with our camp

programs. CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen training are

mandatory certifications.

PWCPA programs are inclusion based activities. All children must be able to meet the basic

qualifying skills (refer to www.pwcparks.org or parent manual) and maintain personal care in order to participate in our camp programs.To

request any type of accommodation for your child, you must submit a written request form at least

15 business days prior to the start of the program. Once received, an assessment will be scheduled with the site manager. Forms can be found online

at www.pwcparks.org

REFUND POLICY

Full Day Camp: Camp Deposits are non-refundable. If you must cancel your child from camp, notice must be given and confirmed by the Wednesday prior to the start of the camp week you need to cancel, otherwise all monies will be forfeited.

Partial Day Damp: Customers must cancel at least one week prior to the start of camp in order to receive a refund, less a $5 admin fee. No refunds will be given once camp has begun.

Full Day Camps Customers • A $40 (or 25% of camp fee if registering online) is due at the time of registration for each week you wish to register for. Your balance is due two weeks prior to the start of your week of camp. Partial Day Camp Customers• Payment, in full, is due at the time of registration All campers must complete the required camper information form. All camp forms are availableonline or at a registration site.

An all-inclusive Parent Handbook will be available on line, we urge all parents to closely review the contents which outline important program information. For your convenience, we have listed the corresponding program code for each camp offering. Please refer to this code when registering.

HI-FIVE CAMP AGE 5This camp is specifically designed for your five-year old to participate in age-appropriate activities created with their interests and needs in mind. Campers will enjoy daily age-appropriate activities, group games, sports, swimming, crafts, and a rest period. Each week, campers will experience an off-site excursion or an on-site special event. Our center has a huge indoor swimming pool, a newly renovated gymnasium, indoor multipurpose rooms, and spacious outdoor fields. Optional full meal service available for this camp. Schoolhouse Grill will provide a full lunch, milk, two snacks and water each day based on USDA guidelines for only $40 extra per week.

Using the input of the teen campers, our counselors will lead age-appropriate activities including team building experiences, group discussions, craft projects, and special events.
