Our goal for 2012 was 900 scarves. In the end, 1,705 arrived at our door!
Scarves were received from 38 US states, and 31 South Dakota communities
AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WY
Aberdeen, Big Stone City, Brandon, Bryant, Burbank, Clark, Corsica, Custer, Dell Rapids, Flandreau, Henry, Hill City, Huron, Lead, Madison, Mitchell, Mt Vernon, Parker, Pierre, Plankinton, Rapid City, Redfield, Renner, Sioux Falls, Sturgis, Vermillion, Wagner, Watertown, Wentworth, Worthing, and Yankton.
Scarves were distributed to athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters during our State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament held in Yankton, SD on March 9 & 10, 2012.
