Initial Site Review Placement Guidelines

• Stations should be visible

• For sidewalk locations, preserve 6 feet of through space

• Stations should be placed at least:

• 2 feet from any standpipe, parking meter, mailbox,

light post, utility vault, garbage can, news rack

• 3 feet from any driveway or wheelchair ramp

• 5 feet from any low pressure fire hydrant, MUNI

shelter, advertising kiosk, or crosswalk

• 8 feet from fire escape/exit
