Bi-office’s continued commitment to the environment compels us to take the lead in the development and distribution of products that comply with the evolving ecological interests and requirements of today’s workplace.

CorkPortugal has the largest cork oak forest in the world and is by far the world’s biggest manufacturer of cork products. To protect this treasure, Portugal was a pioneer in environmental legislation, the first agrarian laws dating from the

early 13th century. The so-called Design Sustainability and Eco-Design have in products made of cork one of the most effective answers for environmental sustainability. The use of cork products is very significant from an ecological point of view. Being a renewable product, whenever it is used in consumer products the retention of carbon dioxide (CO2) increases.

The cork bark is periodically (every 9 years on average) extracted from a cork oak tree which enables the tree to produce between 250% to 400% more cork than it would if the cork was not extracted, thus increasing CO2 retention.

PaperOffered in two solutions, made from recycled paper or from materials obtained in sustainable forests, our paper product lines reflect our environmental concerns. Fulfilling the most demanding EU ecological criteria, we guarantee our customers professional quality with almost zero environmental impact.

AluminiumBi-office’s aluminium frames follow the highest environmental standards, being made from 100% post-consumer and post industrial waste. Metals can be recycled indefinitely without losing any of their properties

recycling used aluminium saves up to95% of the energy

needed to make aluminium from its raw materials, making this an environmentally profitable process.

Recycling 1 kg of aluminium saves 8kg of bauxite, 4kg of chemical products and 14 Kilowatts of electricity.

MDfBi-office’s MDF (Medium-Density-Fibreboard) frames are

made from 39% post industrial waste

and are almost fully recyclable. Apart from being an ideal option for recycling wood

or paper, MDF also offers consistency in strength and size and has no tendency to split. The Environmental Impact of MDF has greatly improved over the years.

Ceramicsteel e3Bi-office’s environmental concerns made us search for ecological and user-friendly solutions for whiteboard surfaces. The e3 ceramicsteel surface combines high efficiency and durability with the strictest and most demanding environmental

Bi-office has developed the Bi-office Excellence boards for those who need a high performance board with the best surface for everyday intensive use. These boards offer the best Magnetic Dryerase surface performance and come ensured with a 25 year extended warranty. The vitreous Enamel steel surface is heated up to 800ºC. Magnetic, scratch resistant, hardly any ghosting, ultra smooth, offering very high contrast; they are the best in the market. You will find the enamel surface under our excellence board options. The Bi-office Excellence boards are designed for frequent use.

We have developed a very fine magnetic surface complete with a 10 years extended warranty. These Boards have a very smooth writing surface with hardly any ghosting and a very good contrast. A wide assortment of alternatives is available in this product line.Last but not least, for those looking for a normal performance board and a compromise between quality and price we developed the Bi-office STANDARD boards. Important steps to extend the life of your Magnetic/Dryerase Board

When cleaning it for the first time, wipe your board with a clean cloth moistened with Bi-office cleanser-spray or use our Bi-office wet-tissue cleaners. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry with a cloth. This step is simple but very important.

Regular cleaning should be done with a felt eraser. Wait until the ink is completely dry on the board and wipe it in a slow, circular motion to loosen marker residue. THIS STEP IS VERy IMPORTANT If some residue still subsides draw over the lines with a dryerase marker. If the stained area is large, spray Bi-office cleaner spray on the stain and wipe it clean.

3Use only dry erase markers. NEVER use ballpoint pens and sharp objects as this will cause permanent damage. NEVER use an abrasive cleaner or glass cleaner on your dryerase board. This will remove the coating and decrease the erasability of your board. Water is not an effective cleaner because most dry erase markers are water resistant.

Wash erasers with warm soap and water. Let the eraser dry off completely before fluffing up the felt pad. Replace eraser when the pad is worn out.

If your board is used daily, the cleaning should be performed at least twice per week. More thorough cleaning may be required if ink is left on the board for more than 2 days.
