About CLEreg CLEreg is the acronym for the Con nuing Legal Educa on Regulators’ Associa on. Our group has been providing educa on and networking opportuni es for regulators in Mandatory CLE jurisdic ons since 1986. CLEreg also connects members via a listserv that provides invaluable day‐to‐day support from peers. 9:15 ‐ 9:45 am M(?)CLE in Maryland: Maryland is one of five remaining states without a mandatory, or minimum, con nuing legal educa on requirement for its lawyers. The absence of MCLE rules, however, is not because of an absence of efforts to move the process forward. 10:45 ‐ 11:45 am Joint Session ‐ CLEreg and ACLEA Distance Learning: Distance learning products will be presented to showcase educa onal technologies for lawyers. Following the demonstra on, a roundtable discussion format will be used to explore how each technology might be labeled, classified or approved for MCLE credit. First‐hand exposure to specific delivery methods will assist in the discussion process and help par cipants connect terminology to actual prac ces. Viewpoints of course sponsors and MCLE regulators will be exchanged via roundtable discussion to help deconstruct the broad subject of Law Practice Management in CLE and increase understanding.
