The real balance you need:keep your body stay at the comfortable. Our body is the miracle of millions of years of evolution. To survive in harsh conditions, every inch of

our skin has to work hard to help our body maintain a stable state. During intensive activity, the skin

sweats to reduce body heat through evaporative cooling, keeping body temperature at 37℃.

Now, with the aid of performance fabrics used in clothing, sweat gets absorbed and moved to a larger

surface area increasing that rate of evaporation, helping maintain body temperature at a balanced state.

What is the balanced temperature? In 1972, Professor Ole Fanger from Denmark proposed in his Thermal Comfort Theory (TCT) that the most

comfortable temperature for humans is 24.5℃. TCT takes into consideration several environmental factors

affecting individual thermal comfort including heat conduction, convection, radiation, airflow, evaporative heat

loss and metabolic rate. The studies show, on average, that at 24.5℃ the body most easily maintains a

temperature of 37C and can most quickly restore that temperature after periods of activity.

Outside temperatures cannot be controlled but Vana can influence the other factors that

affect thermal comfort to help your body maintain a balanced state.
