On behalf of the Americas Executive, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of 240 new partners and principals in the Americas, and the promotions of 148 new executive directors and 27 new directors, including seven new EY Global Services directors located in the Americas. Please join us in congratulating all these colleagues as they celebrate this important career milestone, and please thank them for all they have done and will do for our great organization.

These annual promotions demonstrate EYs commitment to rewarding excellence. They show deep confidence not just in the people being promoted, but in the future of Ernst & Young.

In their new roles, these leaders will help us all to execute our purpose of building a better working world. They are taking on additional responsibilities as we implement Vision 2020, to build the highest performing teams, deliver exceptional client service and win in the market.

These responsibilities are substantial, but we have every confidence that they will be successful. PPEDD promotions involve a rigorous selection process and reflect our belief in each persons strong potential. They also will not be alone in executing their responsibilities, as our PPEDDs demonstrate high performance teaming in all we do.
