Important Reminder: Professional Recognition at the State Level(SCA) is required for Professional Recognition at the National Level(ASCA). In addition, all ASCA Nominations for Counselor of the Yearmust come from the State School Counselor Associations.

Step 3:Now carefully review the eligibility requirements and criteria for each

award on our website at http://www.fla-schoolcounselor.org/fsca-awards.htm. Then, write a description on how the nominee has met

the criteria and exemplified the award.

Step 4:The applicant must provide a Resume or Curriculum Vitae and 3Letters of Reference from peers, supervisors or other relevant people.

Other documents, artifacts and/or supplementary data that would

provide additional information to the Awards Committee areappreciated.

In addition, please have the applicant enclose a brief (no more than100 words) biography that can be used in the program, if selected forone of the awards.
