I have always been fascinated with metaphysics. I wondered what it would be like to be “psychic” and to talk to ghosts, even when I was little. I didn’t realize then such an active imagination

(ability to visualize) was a foundational element to develop and experience metaphysical skills. It was not until decades later I made a pronounced decision to embark on a purposeful study and intentional development.

Although I was baptized United Methodist by my grandfather, Rev. Hillis Louis Hewitt, that day was one of only about a dozen times I was in a church my entire childhood. Needless to say, my parents were not active members. During a rough time when my first love un-ceremoniously ended our relationship at age nineteen, I had a six-month period of “finding God” in the same United Methodist denomination. However, once the crisis was over, so was my need to be there.

During the next fifteen years, I developed a career and married an Englishman who shared my non-religious views. We had two beautiful daughters and it never oc-curred to us to baptize them. As a divorced mother In

my late thirties, I started saying things like I am “spiri-tual,” not “religious.”

I don’t think I knew what it meant to be “spiritual,” but it felt right. I remember telling my best friend over a cup of tea one afternoon I sensed there was something “out there,” something greater than ourselves, and something that had answers to questions. I believed it was real and true, that the answers I was looking for were not going to be found in any traditional spiritual houses of worship.

In 1999, when I was almost 40 years old, I was again in love and getting married. He was Iranian with two children from his first marriage and lived with his par-ents. It was a complicated union. When I look back on the idea of marrying into a “blended, extended, bi-cul-tural” family, I only can say I was hopelessly in love. It was this complicated union of learning a new culture, learning how to live with parents as a mature adult, learning how to love step-children, and create bonding in the family as a whole that proved to be my catalyst for change.

During this same period, my new husband and I merged our CPA practices, which began growing exponentially. These experiences unearthed every insecurity and un-resolved emotional trauma/drama I had, in addition to the ones that I didn’t know I had.

I was falling apart from the stress and strain and knew traditional counseling was not for me as I was unpre-pared to commit to once a week for years before any real breakthroughs occurred. I wanted change that was deeper and faster.

In the early 2000s, the Internet began expanding by leaps and bounds. It was during this time I overheard someone talk about past lives and how we repeat kar-ma with the same family soul group. I was intrigued and started doing Internet searches. The metaphysi-cal world opened up before me on my Dell laptop as I lay on the floor with page after page of information increasing my appetite more than the one before. I was awake.

I began buying books, seeking other people who had simi-lar interests and look-ing for ways to dive deeper into what was fast becoming the most fascinating area of my life. Hav-ing such an exciting and distracting hobby was giving me coping skills. I be-gan to feel more in balance.

As I sought a like-minded community, it initially felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. My children’s piano teacher and I had somehow stumbled upon each oth-er’s beliefs and had many lengthy conversations on the front porch after their lessons. Nevertheless, this was not enough.

One day I loudly said in my head, “I need a teacher!” A month later, at a the “Mind Body Spirit” network-ing dinner hosted by Debbie Donavan, I sat next to a gentleman who introduced me to my first teacher, Bar-bara Myles.

Over the next two years, I faithfully sat in her Wednes-day night intuitive development class. It almost felt naughty. During the day and the rest of the evenings I was totally “normal,” but on Wednesday nights I was

learning deep meditation skills, intuitive development, visioning, channeling, dousing, and how to do Oracle card readings. I was giggling to myself at how good I was becoming.

One night in class during the Spring of 2005, Barbara mentioned Doreen Virtue as being a mega star in the field and that she taught classes in Laguna Beach. I went home that night, looked her up on my new best friend, the Internet, and, after a conversation with my husband, signed up for her Angel Therapy Practitioner Certification course and Medium Mentorship that were taking place in September and October.

After registering for her classes, I knew I had turned a corner from having a middleclass working mom hobby to something bigger. I thought the next six months before Doreen classes would never come. I continued with Barbara’s classes and could feel my skills increas-ing. It felt as though they were returning to me rather than developing. I began to believe we all have these skills, if we take the time to jolt our hidden memories.

In June, two months after registering for Doreen’s classes, I was looking at the summer and want-ing it to melt away so I could be there already. Our oldest daughter had just finished her Associ-ate’s degree at Irvine Val-ley College and was plan-

ning on doing a summer internship with a small law firm while she anticipated her pre-law English major work at UCLA also that coming September.

My husband and I were out having dinner when my daughter called to say she had been in a minor auto accident . My husband advised her to call the police. Once home, while waiting for her to arrive and pro-vide details of the accident, we instead got a call from the Emergency room telling us she was there and we needed to come right away. We were not given any details and we left the house in state of confusion as to how she had come to be there. The tension and fear on the drive to the emergency room was higher than anything I ever experienced. My husband was “floor-ing” it and I put my hand on his arm and asked him to drive normally. I don’t remember making the decision to “check in,” but I heard myself saying inside my head to “show me.’”

Even now, I can remember the details of the vision and the voices. It was singularly the most detailed and im-portant thing I had ever be shown or told, and it was done intuitively. I was given clear accounts of the ac-cident, what happened, how it happened, what her in-juries were, where they were, how she was feeling, and what she was doing in that moment in the ER. I was told she would recover over the summer, that her in-juries would be painful and sensitive ,but she would be fine by the end of summer.

I felt so informed, and as a result, calm…and peaceful. I attempted to convey my knowledge to my husband, but because my skills were so new and I had no previ-ous testimony, it was understandable he dismissed the idea of hearing what I had to share. We sat in the wait-ing room for what seemed like hours until we could see her and get information on her condition. I remained in calm and painfully watched my husband imagine every worst possible scenario. I remember looking at him in that room feeling such a strong sense of injustice that I could be in such a peaceful place while he was in such a state of emotional turmoil.

While waiting for the police to arrive to make a report, we were told drunk driver drove his car over the hill mesmerized by the hazard lights blinking on the side of the road and hit her car, which was not moving. Our daughter was in the hospital for almost a month. She was in a great deal of pain as her skull healed from the impact. Her doctors used a lot of scary phrases like blood clot, brain swelling, intracranial infection, abnor-mal coagulation, etc. to prepare us for all the worst case scenarios if her injuries did not heal on course.

I continued to notice while I was in a complete place of compassion for her pain and focused on her care and comfort, as was everyone else, there was a stark difference between mine and everyone else’s state of mind. They were in a place of fear regarding the an-ticipation of any of the forewarned potentially bad developments, while I remained in a place of calm. My mind was able to stay in what I now understand as be-ing “present,” instead of being in an imagined future state of fear.

I moved my office that summer into the dining room and nursed her back to health. She, indeed, did heal in time to attend UCLA in the fall (and graduated two years later Magna Cum Laude) and followed her dreams to law school. While her career maintained its momentum and purpose, mine had a complete change. I wanted

to turn my hobby into a career. I felt a life purpose was revealed to me of how we, as a world, can live when we are “present” and not caught up in the mental anguish of past traumas and future fears. And, of course, this realization came just in time for me to attend Doreen Virtue’s classes and cement my resolve. Many classes and communities later created the call for the Temple of Light, but that’s another story.

Even though my wake-up call was a little over ten years ago, and my subsequent career change less than ten years ago, I have seen a metamorphosis in this commu-nity that appears to be happening incredibly fast. I am not sure if it is that more people are actually becoming aware of this field of work and study, or, if they always were aware, but are now being bolder in speaking and exploring their beliefs more openly. The Internet has also helped with information going viral. Perhaps it’s a combination of all three.

I hear similar, compelling stories of life-changing events like mine from the people who come into the Temple who are now searching for answers to bigger ques-tions. People seem to be waking up from the trance-like state induced by fear and regret and are becoming more and more present.

In this place there is more community and generosity. In this place of “presence,” we can contemplate, imag-ine, have greater perspectives, inner trust, inner guid-ance, and awareness of a greater power at work with its own intelligence and yet is connected to ours. Some use the names “God,” “Allah,” “Rama,” “Great Spir-it,” “Creator of all that Is,” etc. I also interchange the phrases as I have not found the perfect one to describe it. I would rather describe the feeling as peace, calm, knowing, trusting, interesting, playful, loving, wise and above all, nurturing and providing. It also feels as if it’s growing more community-wide daily. Being in a place of opening my heart and mind to the metaphysical world feels more real than anything else I ever experienced.

I was talking with a dear friend one day and the subject of life’s travails came up. “I understand how God uses life to experience Itself,” she said, “but why does it have to be so hard on us?”

We talked then about the many things people are go-ing through — from the Boston bombing to the Cleve-land kidnapping to the carnage in Syria, to say nothing about the individual trials and tribulations to which we are all subject in our daily lives.

“Is God just playing with us?” my friend wanted to know. She then said she knew better, but was still un-able to comprehend why it was necessary for horrible things to occur in peoples’ lives.

This is difficult to explain. I have asked myself this same question many times. From the Conversations with God dialogue, we come to know it is not “necessary” for such things to occur. Communion with God tells us about The Ten Illusions of Humans, of which #5 is: Requirement Exists. Nothing is required of God, ever. Who would do the requiring? And, since God and we are One, nothing is ever required of us either. Who would do the requiring?

Everything we do, we do out of choice. In our physical life this is true, it is true in our metaphysical or spiritual life as well. We may think we are “forced” to do certain things in our physical life, but, upon closer examination,

Maybe I’m a Dreamer: But I’m not the Only One

we realize every choice or decision we’ve ever made has been the result of an examination of our options and of a cost/benefit analysis we rapidly performed.

This does not mean that nothing can ever happen to us in our physical life we have not consciously cho-sen (the proverbial piano falling from the apartment building). Many things happen we did not conscious-ly choose. Neverthless, it does mean every act of Will on our part derives from our singular choice or deci-sion about it.

Speaking metaphysically, the same thing is true. The Whole of Us (that is, the Totality of All Souls) works in a collaborative way to create the right and perfect cir-cumstance in every moment of Now, allowing every Soul involved to announce and declare, create and become, fulfill and experience the next grandest ver-sion of the greatest vision ever we held about Who We Are. We are doing this right now, collectively, on the Earth as a species of sen-tient beings.

Conversations with God tells us that, both col-lectively and in-dividually, every act is an act of Self-Definition. Example: on the day I wrote this, the House in Minnesota voted to legalize gay marriage. The State Senate was expected to follow suit, making it the 17th state in the U.S. to legalize gay marriage. This is one example of human beings collectively self-defining. Another example in the U.S. might be the failure of its Congress in Washington to approve any kind — even the most limited kind — of gun control, such as background checks on gun buyers.

All over the world humanity observes itself defining it-self. We are doing so in Syria, we are doing so in North Korea, we are doing so in Israel, we are doing so in the United States, and in every nation on earth. We are also collectively creating the conditions in which individuals define themselves through their separate

choices and decisions.

This also is what I said to my friend during our discus-sion. “Life on earth does not have to be so hard,” I said, “and it would not be nearly as challenging for nearly as many people if our species collectively began making other kinds of decisions.”

Even a casual observer can see not one of the systems, institutions and devices that our species has put into place to create a better life for all is functioning in a way that generates this outcome.

Our political systems clearly are not working. Our eco-nomic systems clearly are not working. Our ecological systems clearly are not working. Our health care sys-tems clearly are not working. Our educational systems clearly are not working. Our social systems clearly are not working. Our spiritual systems clearly are not work-ing.

Nothing we have created is producing the outcomes that were intended. It is worse than that. They are produc-ing exactly the opposite.

Our political systems are pro-ducing too much disarray. Our economic systems are producing too much poverty. Our ecological systems are producing too much envi-ronmental degradation. Our health care systems are pro-ducing too much inequality of access to modern medi-cines and health care servic-

es. Our educational systems are producing too much incomprehension. Our social systems are producing too much disparity and injustice. And, perhaps saddest of all, our spiritual systems are producing far, far too much intolerance, anger, hatred, and violence.

And this article has only just begun to lay out the case. I will tell you this: We would eliminate 95% of the human-made problems facing people every day if the human race simply adopted and embraced the 15-word New Gospel offered to us in Friendship with God:

We are all one.

Ours is not a better way,

ours is merely another way.

“Nothing we have created is producing

the outcomes that were intended. They are producing exactly

the oppositie.”

Would that have stopped the Boston bombing, the Cleveland kidnapping, or the carnage in Syria? Perhaps not. But would it make incidents such as these far, far less prevalent in the human experience? Absolutely.

Because a global mindset that embraced the truth and the concept of our Oneness with everyone else and with all of life could not result in anything but a reduc-tion in the kinds of mental aberrations that produce such events. And, the idea that our way is no better than any other way would virtually eliminate all the jus-tification behind our wars and our terrorist bombings and many of the rest of the negative ways that human beings behave with each other.

I don’t know, maybe I’m just a dreamer. But I’m not the only one…

As I return e-mail requests to attend my Friday night class where participants can experience a past life regression and meet their spirit guides in a group setting, I end the

communication with, “Expect a Miracle.” I remember one client, Polly, who came into the group that night and sat on the floor in the corner waiting for the session to begin. All participants bring pillows and lay on the floor for most of the time we spend together.

Later, she told the group she seemed to go so far in the scene in her regression and then stop. She revealed she suffered from agoraphobia or fear of open spaces. Polly later scheduled a private past life regression with me to discover what was at the root of her phobia.

Once in an altered brain wave state, Polly, revealed two lives that shared the same pattern. In one, she was a grandmother of a young girl whose mother had died in childbirth, and whose father, her son, had left his daughter’s care to her and the servants and had moved to another country before the little girl ever knew him. One day, while left alone, the little girl had picked up a gun and accidentally shot herself to death! Polly, as her grandmother, had been outside and saw the entire

scene from a window, but was unable to reach the girl in time to save her. Polly later saw she died from the anxiety of leaving her granddaughter alone and felt she was responsible for her death.

Next, Polly moved to a life of a little boy where she sees herself stealing food to feed her two younger broth-ers. As the little boy runs with the food, he accidentally falls off a cliff and dies at the bottom of the fall. His soul leaves his body, but as it does, he worries that his brothers will go hungry without him.

His mother is is considered “strange” by the townspeo-ple because she hears voices and is run out of town and cannot care for the children. Once again Polly sees she did not take care of the children in her life.

In her present life, she is a perky mother in her forties with three children. She feels she must be at home at all times so they will never be alone or not find her at home when they arrive from school. This is what caused her agoraphobia in her present life.

Several days later, Polly emailed me to say she can now amazingly venture outside her home since her regres-sion experience. Her spirit guides had also told her at the end of the session she must let go of the control

to protect everyone in her family. It was causing her undue harm and to let go, let go, let go.

Not everyone has such experiences in their past lives, but almost every soul is living on this earth at this time to evolve their soul’s growth. The way we can do this so completely is to release the trauma from experiences in this present life and in past lives as well.

Once we re-experience the trauma under the relaxation of regression therapy, our soul, or higher self, is able to understand the cause of the trauma, and release it completely.

I also am clearly seeing the “veil” thinning for many who come to me for a past life regression. They are “feeling” loved ones around them who have passed, and re-membering “scenes” from another time or life. Not under-standing what their loved ones want to help them with, they come to me with questions that, hopefully, their spir-it guides and their higher self can answer.

I believe as our souls are evolving, we are more recep-tive to understanding our traumas from past lives than ever before in Earth’s history. That is why we are seeing and feeling so much more from the spiritual realm. Our loved ones in spirit want us to be at peace.

I recently released my first book, The Soul’s Journey, Regression Cases of Parallel Lives, Attachments, Light Beings, and Love’s Triumph, because I felt it would help many to understand the useful benefits of experienc-ing a past life regression. A reason many people come-to me for regression therapy work is because they feel “stuck in their life.” Whether they are stuck in their personal relationships or their role in their career or responsibility, they feel confused and not clear about moving forward in their life.

One case in the book is of Susan Williamson. Her career seemed to be successful, but her emotional relation-ships had always been a struggle and that part of her life seemed to be “on hold.” As we regressed into an al-tered state for Susan, she saw herself as a man in battle in the year 39 B.C. in Greece. She was the leader of an

army of soldiers in battle and waiting for the enemy to arrive. The leaders are planning the line of attack. They agree to split the men with some going to the east hill while some will stay in the valley to ambush the enemy from different directions. A gifted mystic, Diabla, who has been sent to advise the men on the best decisions says that this plan will not work. Susan does not listen to her, and follows the other leader’s advice.

The Persian army attacks the Grecian army Susan is leading. Many are hurt and killed on both sides. Just as the Grecian army thinks it has won the battle, another group of soldiers on horses that are allied with the Per-sians arrive and kill all of Susan’s soldiers in the valley. She is captured by the enemy and killed as well. Later,

as Susan is in a soul state, her spirit guides come through and identify many of the soldiers as the men in her life today. They include her father, her former husband, a former long-term boy-friend, and the present man she is dating. She also sees a friend, Rob, as one of the soldiers. Many are still angry at

her in her current life for having died so young. She feels guilty for the many deaths she knows she caused by being their leader. She was not thinking enough of their lives when she led them to their deaths.

Susan’s spirit guides help her to understand she asked to come into this life with these souls from the battle to learn what it is like not to have choices, but to be placed in relationships, careers, and family situations where she must do as she is told to do. Only in this way, will Su-san complete the karmic cycle of this past life trauma.

Do you have a troubling relationship that cannot be explained by your life’s actions today? Maybe you suf-fer from a phobia, like the fear of water or the fear of heights, that cannot be explained by any experiences in your present life. Or, you may feel as if you don’t be-long here. You may feel as if you are disconnected from the mainstream feelings of daily living. All of these feel-ings may be connected to past life experiences, rela-tionships, or even past lives on other planets.

“Do you have a troubling relationship

that cannot be explained by your life’

actions today.”

Some clients ask how they can tell what they see and feel is really from a past life or if it was just imagined. When asked to remember how their emotions felt as they experienced the scenes and interactions with oth-ers, many are brought to tears. If you were making up the scenes, would your soul be so emotionally involved?

I also have found clients remember what they see and feel for a long time. It is not like a dream that can be forgotten in a few days or weeks. I still remember past life experiences I had over 30 years ago.

I’ve seen lives changed for the better, freedom realized, and hope gained from past life regression therapy. In addition, the love that is felt when someone meets and feels their spirit guides for the first time is truly a mira-cle on Earth. So, Expect A Miracle...

In May of 2009, I underwent open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve with a pig valve. Since that time, the opening line of John Keats’ sonnet no longer resonates with me: “When I have fears

that I may cease to be.”

Raised as a Roman Catholic, I had the “fear of God” in me about sin, damnation, and Hell. I had the image of Satan clearly in my vision, and could smell the yellow sulphur fumes rising up from the cauldron. All of that ended when my heart stopped on that operating table, and I left my body behind.

When my heart stopped, I had the most supreme and exhilarating experience of my lifetime, or should I say my “afterlife.” I found myself travelling through the galaxy, totally without friction, at a speed of approxi-mately 900 miles per hour, faster than a jet plane. The heavens opened before me, with stars exploding from

every direction, very much like the images we see from the Hubble telescope. It was so huge and so endless, so filled with light and energy.

Someone was holding me by the arm on my left side. I did not see his face, but I knew from his voice it was a man. I looked down at a golden ball, and said, “What is that?”

He said, “That is Hell.”

I said, “Thank goodness I’m looking down. “ Here I was carrying early Catholic symbolism into the afterlife. After all, I have callouses on both knees from years of confession and asking forgiveness. Surely the little ball was earth.

To be candid, in comparison with the rush of joy I was feeling, life on earth is our little Hell. I use the word “little” because the enormity of the Universe explod-ing before my eyes rendered that ball just one mere

speck in the cosmos. In measurements of time, it was insignificant and fleeting. I said to my companion, “The universe is so vast and beautiful.” He said, “There is no beginning and no ending. Life is a complete circle. You’re on the next step of your journey.”

When you know this, the specter of death has no pow-er, because we never “cease to be.” I went in for my an-nual respiratory test this past week, and told this story to the technician.

She said, “I know what you’re saying is true.” Then she told me about a woman who came into the Emergen-cy Room with a heart attack. No one knew her. The whole team worked on the patient who was hooked up to several machines. The woman stopped breath-ing and her heart stopped. The team acknowledged she was dead and proceeded to pull the plugs from the machines. Then suddenly, the woman sat up. She knew every member of the team by first name, and ad-dressed each one. Every message had relevance for the person who received it, and every prediction she made came true.

Was she sent back to deliver those messages? Was I sent back because my work is not done? All of my life I have been able to tell the future. It comes to me in my dreams. Like so many people I have read about with psy-chic powers, it filled me with doubt about the source. In line with my Catholic teaching, did the dreams come from Good or from Evil? I hesitated to act upon them.

However, one dream moved me to action. The night I won a world-wide Mikhail Gorbachev Look-Alike Con-test, my dream foretold that Gorbachev was going to take down the Berlin Wall and end the Cold War. I was instructed to create the rock video, “Rock the Wall.” In the video I ride a construction ball through the Ber-lin Wall, then celebrate with the Gorbachev Rock, rock and roll. Through a chain of amazing events I share in my book, the video played in Germany and the Soviet Union a full year before the Wall came down. Part of a greater plan, the humor influenced the climate of opin-ion in those countries.

Since leaving this life and returning, I know now with certainty the presence of a Universal Power. I trust my dreams. We are a part of a continuum, without begin-ning and without ending. It is important to remind our-selves that whatever issues confront us daily, the big picture is eternal and the outcome is as good as it gets. The ultimate joy awaits each one of us as we move on and return. The resurrection is the great re-connection.

Ronald V. Knapp is the author of “Gorby 2: Audacious Impostor,” which chronicles his extraordinary manifestation of dreams and outrageous adventures after he won a Gorbachev look-alike contest in Los Angeles. In December of 1988, Mikhail Gorbachev,

Secretary General of the Soviet Union, came to address the United Nations. Ronald Knapp went to New York for one day to do a segment on Fox TV with Gordon Elliott s “Good Day, New York.” Fox thought it would be fun to see what would happen if they took Gorby 2 to New Jersey knocking on doors the same day Gorbachev was arriving. He was so successful that Fox said, “Let’s hire limos and turn him loose on New York- totally unplanned and serendipitous. The Gorbachev motorcade was on one street, and Gorby 2 was on another. Gorby II shook hands with 100,000 New Yorkers who thought they shook hands with Gorbachev. The prime moment was when Donald Trump came out of Trump Tower to greet him in front of about 5000 people. The Fox TV cameras captured it for the evening news on Maury Povich’s “Current Affairs.”

Today’s headlines are filled with stories that chronicle our broken medical system, the

people who suffer because of a failed safety net, or cannot afford the care that would help them. Still more people are written about who can afford medical treatment, but modern medicine seems not to cure them, allow them to heal or even eliminate their pain and suffering. Even alternative healthcare is found to be only mildly beneficial.

We wonder, “What if there was an-other way, one so simple and easy that it defies present day belief? A method so effective many chronic health conditions and emotional traumas could be eliminated, in

many cases, virtually immediately? A method that anyone who desires can learn in a weekend and can use it to help others?”

This is not a futuristic scenario. It’s known internationally as Recon-nective Healing, a remarkable new transformative paradigm in healing that has been learned by more than 75,000 people globally. It’s the cut-ting edge of what researchers are calling “Information Medicine,” scientifically-documented frequen-cies that are often credited with bringing about a state of restored health. You can learn how to access these frequencies to heal others, and heal yourself as well. Stanford Professor Emeritus Dr. William Til-ler states when information carried through these frequencies is intro-

duced, it creates coherence and order. The result: dramatic reports of regeneration instead of degen-eration and account after account of seemingly unexplainable, often instantaneous and life-long heal-ings from medically documented cancers, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, arthritis, and more.

These bandwidths – comprised of energy, light and information – appear to innately “know” what needs to be done. You are returned to an optimal and appropriate state of balance merely by experienc-ing or interacting with this healing continuum. The trained Reconnec-tive Healing practitioner simply fa-cilitates the process. By feeling the

frequencies and playing with them – an act that appears as if the healer is stretching taffy in the air – physi-cal and emotional health shifts sud-denly come about. Even the healing practitioner can see the impact on the person receiving Reconnec-tive Healing as the person’s closed eyes flutter and begin to rapidly dart back and forth, fingers or feet move as if of their own volition, even involuntary muscles of the face move in a way that couldn’t happen intentionally. All this occurs even though the practitioner usu-ally isn’t even touching the client!

These involuntary body move-ments – referred to as registers – are a demonstration that the cli-ent has entered into a state where healings often occur. The informa-tion-laden frequencies reconnect us to our original fullness as human beings and seemingly restore us to a more complete connection with the universe.

Tiller and other scientists, such as Dr. Gary Schwartz (University of Arizona) and Dr. Konstantin Ko-rovkov (St. Petersburg Technical University), have been studying Reconnective Healing practitioners and the charged environment that results in the rooms where this work is taught. As a result, these world-renowned researchers are now measuring and validating the frequencies, and the impact that Reconnective Healing has on hu-mans, plants, water, and more.

Dr. Eric Pearl is the first to tell you he is not a scientist. He was a very successful chiropractor for 12 years before his life took a dramatic turn. As he recounts, “I left my office on a Friday, thinking I was I chiroprac-

tor. I came back on a Monday and was something else…” Then his humor begins to show as he adds, “My parents always told me I was ‘something else,’ but this was prob-ably not what they had in mind!“

Over that weekend he had an ex-perience that introduced an ability within him to facilitate this work. When his patients arrived, they told him they could feel his hands on them even though he wasn’t physi-cally touching them – and they could report accurately where he held his hands! They suddenly be-gan relating astonishing healings from physical conditions that were present for 10 years or more, and had been crippling their lives.

It became clear to him this was something that needed to be shared with the world. Eric’s book, The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself, has been published in 36 languages. He teaches children as well as mainstream healthcare practitioners worldwide how to do this work.

What is especially exciting about this is that it also appears to have benefits to the healer. In other words, as you heal others, you also heal yourself!

With Reconnective Healing, Pearl has opened a new avenue for those who have yearned for a career in healthcare, without the commit-ment of eight years of medical school. In addition, Reconnective Healing has given many people the joy of personally helping those they serve, love, and care about to heal physically, emotionally and spiritu-ally.

“I feel deep gratitude for hav-ing been the person entrusted to bring Reconnective Healing into the world. But this is not about me.

You might not know it, but it’s true. We all have an innate ability to heal. It is programmed into our DNA. Every single one of us is born with the gift of healing. Think about it, what is the

first thing you do when you bang your head or your knee? You rub it...this is instinct, your instinct as a healer. Why do pregnant mothers walk around rubbing their bellies all day? Again, healing instinct. They’re directing healing to their unborn child without even knowing it. The problem is that healing is not reinforced for the children in most homes, so we essentially ‘forget’ how to heal.

“Kids, I have cancer.” Those are the words that pro-pelled me onto my path as a healer. My father-in-law called my former wife and me to his house one Sunday morning and delivered the news he had lymphoma. We didn’t know much about lymphoma at the time except that a lot of people died from it, so she and I immedi-ately went to the bookstore for more information. She went straight for the chemo and radiation section of

the store, while I went right over to the health and nu-trition section. I brought home a book on raw foods and liked what I read, so I bought a juicer later that week and started frequenting the local health food store, as I felt organic was the only way to go, considering what we were up against. During each visit, I’d stop and take home free literature that was offered. One of the hand-outs was a monthly magazine, a calendar of events really, loaded with all kinds of classes, workshops and happenings for the spiritual community. It was here I first heard about Reiki.

This Reiki thing sounded interesting and I wanted to help my family if I could, so I did some research. I visited a spiritual bookstore where I met the man who would become my Reiki Master. He recommended I read a book on Reiki, which I did, and it sounded ab-soulutely magical. From there, I booked a session with him. He put me on a massage table in a dark healing

room with candles, crystals, and some sort of geomet-ric shape hanging from the ceiling. When the Master placed his hands on me, they were incredibly hot. When he placed his hands over my face, I saw energy swirling in my mind’s eye. This was all very new to me...I wasn’t quite sure what took place that day, but I left know-ing something had happened (but still with a certain amount of skepticism). This was, after all, about help-ing someone I cared about, so I booked myself into the next available class.

I went to class skeptical to say the least, yet hopeful that everything I had read and heard about Reiki was true. I did not have a spiritual background and certainly wasn’t “sensitive” to energies (not in a way I was aware of anyway). I certainly didn’t believe I had any special gifts as a healer. How could I go to class for a single day and leave with healing abilities? The other students in class seemed to be having these amazing, mystical experiences, but I didn’t feel much of anything, except for one point where my body felt warmer than it should have, given the weather conditions.

At the end of class, when it was time to practice on each other, I still felt nothing, but the people I practiced on all raved about how hot my hands were. I still wasn’t convinced. I actually left class that day unsure if I was a healer, or if I had just been had!

In the days and weeks that followed, I received feed-back and confirmations that it was indeed working. I practiced on willing family members, friends and co-workers...all of whom would report back to me that my hands felt like they were on fire, that their headaches had disappeared, and many even started requesting healings. One day I was thoroughly amazed when the energy turned on spontaneously when I touched some-body with a disfigured hand. I was a healer!

There are many good healing modalities to choose from, and I’ve sampled several of them, but the thing I like about Reiki is that we use something called an attunement to instantly activate (or maybe I should say re-activate) your healing abilities. An attunement is nothing more than a ceremony performed by your Reiki Master using sacred symbols to align your energy field to the specific frequency of Reiki. Nearly all healing modalities use the same Universal Life Force Energy (or Source Energy), but each seems to have a unique fre-

quency. A Reiki Master uses the attunement to “tune” your frequency, much like we tuned our radios in the old days to find the correct channel. Another metaphor I like to use is that it’s like flipping a light switch (except we’re flipping your “healing switch”)...your healing abilities are literally activated from one minute to the next. That’s what makes Reiki unique and special. The attunement process ensures that anyone who has the desire can put their natural healing abilities to use.

Reiki certainly isn’t the only way to healing, but it is a good way. It will empower you to perform healing on yourself and others. Reiki heals on a physical, emo-tional, and spiritual level so true and lasting healing can occur. Whatever modality you choose, if you have the slightest interest in healing, I implore you to find a class and give it a try because you’re already a healer, you just don’t know it yet. You just need a little guidance.

When I was a child, I wanted to grow up and become a kindergarten

teacher. Miss Roach was mine and she understood why I cried every day and wanted to go home.

Instead, life took me on a different course. I couldn’t take advantage of a college scholarship from the University of Illinois, because my grandmother, who was raising me, said I had to get a full time job and start paying for my needs. I was 16.

However, I never gave up my dream of attending college, and finally be-gan when I was 33 and already had three children and a divorce.

I attained my Associates in Pho-tography, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Masters Degree in Marketing, and a Ph.D. in Spiritual Counseling in 26 years!

As I reached my 60s, I began to think of life differently. No longer was I focused on what I wanted to get out of life. I became more con-cerned about what I can do for oth-ers. My journey started in 2005 and continues today. I put together an actual Bucket List one day with my best friend, Shari Young, and start-ed working on it.

I always wanted to save a life and imagined my last moments doing a heroic deed, like running into a burning building to rescue a child. I put it on my Bucket List when I made the decision to become an altruistic organ donor. Lata, the re-cipient, is doing well and I’m grate-ful I didn’t have to die!

I’m afraid of heights, so the next item was the hardest to do. On my 65th birthday, I jumped tandem from an airplane and experienced what it must feel like to be a bird, looking down onto the earth.

Publishing my book has been on the list for a while, but I’ve taken it to the next level and will publish it be-fore Christmas. I’s a book about my spiritual journey from having suicid-al thoughts to giving my kidney to someone who needed it. I want to let people know that, even in their darkest moments, they shouldn’t give up. You never know the won-drous things that await you...if you just focus on living. As Stephen King wrote in the Shawshank Re-demption, “Either get busy living or get busy dying.” I chose life.

Next, I wanted to start painting again as I did when I was in my 30s and was able to support myself and my children. I checked this one off

my List last summer. I’ve been get-ting commissions and thank God daily for the talent he gave me.

Next, I wanted to change the life of a child. I already have three beau-tiful children of whom I’m very proud. They are in their 30s and do-ing well. I wanted to do something for a child I don’t know. Because I believe we are related, it would be like helping a niece of nephew.

I found an organization called Amboseli Children’s Fund (www.AmboseliChildrensFund.com) and began providing a Maasai child (a mtoto) an education. It’s only $34 monthly, a small price to pay to change a child’s life.

I want to be an international speak-er on gender equality someday, so I registered for a 4-day speakers’ workshop in November with Arvee Robinson, a wonderful coach.

The last item is visiting Africa. This will be accomplished in 2014 when I meet Charity, the Massai child.

Love and DestinyBy Swami Devageet

In Pune, a few days of getting settled into a small apartment in “the Dutch Palace,” I was ready for my new life in the ashram. I applied for work to Vidya, the ashram work coordinator. “Be a

dentist,” she told me. I protested, saying I was finished with dentistry, muttering I wanted to be a simple disciple in the presence of my master. She gave me a withering look, made more powerfully bleak by her pale blue eyes piercingly observing me from their perch above her powerful nose. She repeated herself briefly and sharply, “Devageet, be a dentist.”

I continued mumbling that Nirvan’s dental office was barely big enough for one dentist, never mind two. And that Nirvan was more than able to... Vidya interrupted, leaning forward and looking into my eyes even more penetratingly with her steely orbs, before repeating slowly, with great effect: “Devageet - be - a - dentist. And tell Nirvan you will be his assistant.”

I walked into the small room that served as the soon-to-be dental office for sannyasins. Showing me the dental machines he had carefully set up, Nirvan initially had been friendly and mellow, happy to show a fel-low professional his fine cabinetry and gadgetry. I was impressed by his expert woodworking skills and gen-eral expertise.

The first day we worked together in Pune, he had ca-sually complained about “those bitches in the front office.” The next day he complained bitterly about his loss of erectile function “due to this f_ _ _ _ing heat,” and how he couldn’t stop passing gas: “God, man, my wind is like rotten eggs. Those amoebas and giardia in my guts are sucking out all my life juices.” He painted a vivid picture of his virile decline due to an invasion by tropical intestinal parasites.

On my third day as his assistant, Nirvan announced he was leaving Pune for America. He generously offered to sell me his vast stock of vitamins, unbelievable quan-tities of dental floss, exotic Californian food supple-ments, and a fine, but over-priced, foam-and-coconut fiber mattress of his own design. I declined his offer due to my poverty, but was impressed by the quality and quantity of his possessions.

With Nirvan’s departure to the United States, I became the Pune ashram dentist. One year later, in January 1979, I became Osho’s personal dentist. After Nirvan’s departure, I mused that he occasionally may have re-gretted leaving Pune, perhaps imagining if he had stayed he would have been Osho’s dentist instead of me.

When Nirvan arrived at Rancho Rajneesh in 1981, Dol-ma, the ashram work coordinator, had unknowingly reversed our original ashram roles by assigning him as my assistant. She instructed him to help me design and build clinical dental rooms for sannyasins in Pythago-ras, the communal medical trailer.

It took only a few days for Nirvan to attempt a dental coup. He sabotaged our mutually agreed upon plans, stating to me emphatically whatever dental knowledge I had was of no value. I tried to compromise, but his attitude was unbending. I had little alternative but to refer the matter to Dolma in her role as ranch work co-ordinator. She decided on the spot that the three of us, Dolma, Nirvan, and myself, needed an urgent meeting to “sort things out.”

The meeting took place in the dusty main street of Ran-cho Rajneesh. Nirvan robustly restated I was a mere dental pygmy compared to his superior qualifications and experience. He made a forceful pitch that on Ran-cho Rajneesh, he should be the person in charge of all things dental. “Dolma, the guy isn’t even American. He is unqualified!” He went on, powerfully making the point that his clear, academic superiority made it obvi-ous that I was not, and could never hope to become, his equal.

As I contemplated his argument, I realized that his ob-servations, despite being made with much spray and emphasis, were undeniably true. However, Dolma re-jected them, saying, “Nirvan, this is a mystery school, not a dental campus.” At that, he had shaken his head before stomping off into the dust, each step showing his disgruntled resentment.

Deliberating on the situation later, I realized that in America, Osho could, and should, have the very finest of dental treatment. I decided to write him a letter of-fering to stand aside, and asked Vivek to deliver it.

In my letter, I explained that by United States standards, my dental skills were modest. I told him I understood that in Pune I may have been the best dentist available due to the poor general standards of dentistry there, but now, in America, where practically every family had a crown-and-bridge specialist as a son-in-law, he could have the best and most highly qualified personal den-tist, with much higher qualifications than I possessed.

Vivek, always plain spoken and often brutally direct, had raised her fine eyebrows and looked at me as though I

was mentally challenged as I explained the nature of the message I was asking her to deliver. In those days, since his arrival in America, Osho had declared himself to be in a period of public silence; messages for him were delivered as letters, usually by an intermediary. However, in this case, as we stood in the tiny dental of-fice behind his living room, Vivek personally delivered my note.

Within moments she was back. “Devageet, here’s Os-ho’s reply to your letter:

‘Devageet, don’t be such a fool. You are not my dentist because you are the best dentist in the world. You are my personal dentist because your love for me makes your work perfect. P.S. Nirvan’s breath was horrible!”

1. Attitude really IS everything.

Yes, you’ve heard it a thousand times... because it’s true. If you think your situation is hopeless, you’re right. If you think there must be work out there somewhere, you’re right. Your most important task right now is managing your attitude and emotions.

2. Change your paradigm

Forget the word “job” and instead focus on “work” and “earning.” Give up the notion of finding a 9-to-5 job -- they’re scarcer than hen’s teeth. Neverthe-less, there’s still plenty of “work” to be done; it’s contract work, project work, temporary gigs, and portfolio work. Think of the movie business or con-struction work, harvest season on the farm -- where people come together for a limited period of time to work on a project. When it’s complete, everyone moves on to their next gig.

10 Tips for Finding Work in a Tough EconomyBy BJ Gallagher

The good news is the recession is officially over and the recovery has begun -- we’re on our way back up -- slowly, to be sure, but it’s moving in the right direction. The

bad news is many of the jobs that disappeared in the Great Recession aren’t coming back -- they’re gone for good.

While the outlook for our country is getting bright-er, the outlook for hundreds of thousands of indi-viduals still seems bleak. What can you do if you’re one of those folks whose job -- and/or company -- is gone forever?

If there’s anything I know for sure, it’s that Ameri-cans are resilient, resourceful, smart, and creative. Americans are “can-do” people. We are inventors and innovators. We are pioneers and adventurers. We put a man on the moon. We pull off medical mir-acles. We develop wonder drugs. We invent killer apps. We can certainly put ourselves back to work. Here are ten tips to get started: continued on page 36 >>

BJ Gallagher is coauthor of “Being Buddha at Work: 108 Ancient Truths on Change, Stress, Money, and Success” (Berrett-Koehler)www.peacockproductions.com

3. Do an inventory

List your skills, talents, abilities, and experience you have to offer. Make a list of your strongest skills and best abilities. Try to think of generic skills you can take from job to job, applying them almost any-where -- financial skills, managing projects, writing skills, verbal communication skills, the ability to manage a team, project management, organization skills, tech skills, office skills, solving problems, re-solving conflicts, and dealing effectively with cus-tomers. You must know what value you can add to a business in order to sell yourself.

4. Look for opportunity, not safety

There is no place on the map called “Safe.” Job se-curity falls into the same category as unicorns and tooth fairies. Your only security is your ability to se-cure work. Give up looking for a “safe” profession (and for goodness sake, don’t tell your kids to look for a “safe” occupation, either).

5. Learn to dance with change

For thirty years now, workplace experts, authors, and career consultants have been telling us the only certainty is change. Yet denial is stubborn and many folks still hope things will “settle down” and “get back to normal.” Wake up and smell the Starbucks -- change IS the new normal.

6. Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from what you can do

Stop focusing on things that are out of your con-trol. Focus on things you can control -- your mind-set, your actions, how you spend your time, getting out there and meeting people, making contacts, and following up on leads.

7. Be careful of what you read, watch, and listen to

News, by definition, is that which deviates from the norm. If millions of people go to work every day, that’s not news. If lots of jobs disappear and thou-sands of people are without work, that’s news. However, if the news is all you pay attention to, you’re not getting the big picture -- or the accu-rate one. Sure, it’s OK to glance at the newspaper headlines or tune into the evening news for a few

minutes, but don’t linger over the news or you’ll get depressed. (Refer back to #1.)

8. Polish your people skills

Business success and career success are all about relationships -- relationships between bosses and the people who work for them; relationships be-tween businesses and their customers; relation-ships between coworkers; and relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. Eighty percent of people who fail on the job fail because of poor interpersonal skills, not poor technical skills. If you can’t get along with people, you’re in deep yogurt.

9. Go where the love is

Surround yourself with people who love you and care about you. You need all the support you can get when you’re looking for work. Just as elephants rally around one of their own who is sick or injured until he gets stronger, your friends and family can provide you with valuable help. Run to the center of the herd, honey, run to the center of the herd.

10. Tap into spiritual resources

Ninety-two percent of Americans say they believe in God. If you’re in that 92 percent, now would be a good time to cultivate your relationship with a Higher Power (whatever name you call it) and deepen your faith. Meditation, prayer, inspirational books and CDs, and spiritual groups can provide enormous strength, reassurance, and comfort in these trying times.

Bursting Free:The Six Spiritual Laws of CreativityBy Tobin Blake

As a writer, I am sometimes asked where I find my inspiration. A decade ago I would have found the question impossible to answer. Back then I struggled with endless bouts of writer’s

block, which occasionally paralyzed me for months on end. And once, after my mother passed away, I found myself unable to write anything of even moderate substance for more than a year straight—a brutal emotional blow that left me questioning the purpose of my life. The problem got so bad I began having anxiety attacks every time I passed my computer (no exaggeration). I started to suspect the blinking cursor on my perpetually blank Word documents was a servant of Lord Beelzebub himself, sent to drive me mad (okay, now I’m exaggerating, but not by much).

No doubt, the question of how to unlock the vault of creativity—which does exist within us all no matter how dull our minds might feel at times—is a daunting one indeed. After all, how did J.K. Rowling give birth to Harry Potter? Da Vinci to Mona Lisa? Walt Disney to Mickey Mouse? Perhaps we will never comprehend how the world’s geniuses coax their masterpieces to life, but if there is one thing I’ve learned it’s that the process of creativity begins with the breath of life.

Your breath, your life.

It does not matter if you are a writer or a painter, a singer or an actor, a business executive or a mother.

Creativity wears many masks. The artist creates using whatever medium stirs her. The various forms merely lend concrete structure—a body—to the unspeakable beauty within. The best art is an extension of the artist, not a mere product, and the first thing to do is to get in touch with who you are at your core, your spirit, your soul.

This leads me to the Six Spiritual Laws of Creativity, which are not laws in the traditional sense; they are merely guidelines to discovering your deepest gifts and allowing them to find a channel through you and into the world. The gifts you have been blessed with are yours alone to give. They are absolutely unique, and there is no replacement for them. Once you begin shar-ing them, your path is set. Something deep within you clicks into place, an ancient door creaks open, and an inner smile lights your face and dances in your eyes.

Your journey has begun.

Law One: Follow Your Heart.

This is the first spiritual law of creativity, and it is also the most important. If what you are doing feels like it goes against the most vital, fulfilling work of your life, if you get the sense you are attempting to swim up river, or if there is no joy in your creative act, you probably are not following your heart. You still may be successful,

continued on page 38 >>

Page 38: 2013 Sept/Oct issue of Radiance magazine

38 Radiance September/October 2013

<< continued from page 37

but it will never satisfy you deep down—and if it does not, it’s not going to satisfy anyone else either. I knew from a very young age I was a writer. I did not have to guess. I tried to write my first novel at age twelve. You probably already know what some of your gifts are, but if not, the first thing to do is to ask. This might sound strange, but it works. Sit down, close your eyes, quiet your mind, and ask: “What am I here for? What are my gifts? What was I born to share?” Listen carefully!

In my experience, the universe is alive, intelligent, awake, and fully aware of who we are and what we need. God, Spirit, Love—call it what you like—will find a way to answer you.

If this sounds too woo-woo for your tastes, here is some simple advice: Whatever you do, don’t do anything just for the money, fame, or whatever earthly reward you imagine awaits you at the end of the rainbow. There is nothing wrong with getting paid for doing what you love, but when it comes to creativity, do it first because it inspires you and fills you with joy.

Law Two: Master Your Craft. This may sound obvious, but you might be surprised how many artists struggle against the idea, arguing their work should be “organ-ic,” “original,” “nonconformist.” Admittedly, on the surface their notion does have some appeal, but where it loses steam is in its application, mainly because it min-imizes the fact that human beings can—and should—learn from one another. An aspiring chef does not need to figure out which flavor profiles go together and which clash. Many culinary artisans before him have al-ready worked this out, and it doesn’t change any more than the answer to 2 + 2 does. What the young chef must learn is exactly what those combinations are and how best to marry them. Once he masters the basics, he is then free to experiment with unique creations of his own that won’t send diners running for the door.

When I first started writing I may have had some natu-ral talent, but it was thoroughly undeveloped. In order to succeed, I needed help. I took classes, joined writer’s critique groups, read endless numbers of books on the craft, and practiced my art.

As my skills increased, my writing gradually became more fluid and natural. I didn’t have to work so hard at it. Learning your craft will give you the confidence you need to create from an intuitive space which isn’t con-stantly second-guessing your work.

Once you understand the laws that govern your art—and the purpose those laws serve—you will be in a posi-tion to go beyond them in a way that is meaningful. You will also be more likely to find yourself letting go and entering the creative flow, or what I call the “Zone,” from which masterpieces are breathed to life.

Law Three: Let Go and Let it Flow. This law of creativity cannot be consistently applied until you have already started down the road toward mastery—a road which is a journey, not a destination. Creating from a space of flow entails quieting the thinking mind and working from an intuitive space instead. I’m convinced thinking is the number one cause of writer’s block, but writer’s block is really just a specific creative obstacle. They are all similar, arising primarily from thinking too much and acting too little.

Let’s be clear: You cannot think your way out of any type of creative block. If you are a writer, you must write your way free; a painter has to paint their way out; a songwriter will need to sit down at the piano (or guitar, or whatever…) and tinker with notes until the correct thread of melody is born. In other words, stop thinking about doing it—whatever it is—and get busy! Your work may seem muddled at first, but this tech-nique will steer you into the flow of creativity.

publications, and he recently completed work on a young adult fantasy novel called “Time Surfers.” He has appeared on radio shows and television, and holds workshops on meditation and spiritual awakening throughout the Pacific Northwest. For more information, visit his humble slice at www.TobinBlake.com.

Law Four: Give Yourself Permission to Make Mistakes. Perfectionists often have major problems when it comes to creativity because they are constantly ques-tioning their efforts, which puts the creative process in a stranglehold. If you cannot tolerate mistakes, you may as well not bother trying to be creative at all. You will make mistakes, and many of them, no matter how talented you are. Get used to it. Mistakes are a part of the process. In fact they are necessary learning steps, which ultimately pave the way to success.

Don’t kick yourself or be embarrassed by your creative faux pas. Wear them like badges of honor. You earned them by attempting the creative process instead of just thinking about doing so. Most of all, use your errors to learn what works and what does not. That is their true purpose.

Law Five: Find Meaning in Your Work. This law is so simple it hardly needs clarifying. If your work feels meaningless to you, your creativity will suffer. The act of creation requires effort, energy, and attention. It is not easy for most people, even when doing something they love. If you are exerting yourself for something you do not really care about, it’s natural your efforts are going to be limited, and by extension, so will your suc-cess. Therefore, find meaning in your work … or find other work. It really is that simple.

Law Six: Do Not Feed the Fears. Fear, in one form or another, is the number one slayer of creativity, and it operates just the same no matter your age, race, or ed-ucation. No one can create freely from a space of fear because it is an overwhelming thought-based emotion, which squashes clarity and robs you of energy. Imagine getting into your car and realizing you don’t have any gas. Until you fuel up, you aren’t going to get far. In the same way, because creativity is an exploration of your deepest, intuitive self, you need energy to get there, explore your inner landscape, and bring home what-ever treasures you discover.

There are many specific fears holding people back: the fear of looking dumb, fear of failure, fear of success, the fear of giving energy, time, and effort but getting nothing back in return, and the fear of public embar-rassment, to name just a few.

Yet each of these, and the many other faces fear may wear, all have one thing in common: They are weeds, and the more you feed them, the more they will take over your garden of creativity and choke the life from

it, entangling it with doubts, excuses, and a growing sense of despair.

*

I was wrong so many years ago when I thought the blinking cursor on my computer screen was my “ene-my.” Truly, deeply wrong, wrong, wrong! It turned out my dreaded enemy was something far more insidious because it had a thousand faces, a million forms, a bil-lion potential causes. Yet, for exactly the same reason, it was also easier to fix than I ever imagined. All I need-ed to learn was to look beyond those varied masks and flush out the real issue behind them.

Creative blocks always originate within the artist. They are emotional, thought-entangled, fear-infused, doubt-driven systems that can be undone in the swirl of an instant—poof!—simply by seizing the magic you were born with. We are all children of the Great Spirit, and so in a sense we are all natural born creators. Do not for-get; however, creating involves giving, not taking, and you can only give that which you already possess.

Therefore, in order to create, you must dig deep into the soils of your heart and bring forth your most com-pelling vision. Learn to set fear and doubt aside, burst free, and soar beyond your wildest imagination. Don’t get ensnared in thoughts about future success or fail-ure. Such visions are nothing more substantial than mi-rages, which forever shimmer in the distance. They are not real and can only detract from the creative process. The true direction into creativity does not take you into the future, toward some distant, forever unattainable point, but into the present moment, the sacred here and now, which is always available.

The only question is where are you?
