in only four short decades, liberty university has grown to become the nation’s largest private, nonprofit university, and most importantly, the largest Christian university in the world. liberty is providing world-class education to the next generation of leaders through our resident campus and to this generation of adults through our online programs.
Liberty’s campus is currently in the midst of a $500 million campus reconstruction. The commitment goes past just building new classrooms — it is building lives. The phrase “under construction” describes what goes on every day both on the grounds and in the hearts of students. Our campus is being transformed just like the lives of our students. Liberty is using its financial resources, not
only to build world-class facilities and programs, but also to ensure the university remains true to its original mission of Training Champions for Christ.
The purpose of this guide is to keep parents connected to Liberty and apprised of the services available to them and their students. Liberty has much to offer to make students feel at home.
Sending a student away to college is a milestone in the life of a parent, but it can also be a time of great apprehension as decisions are made for your child's future. Parents can rest assured knowing that the values they instilled in their child will not be undermined. We at Liberty are committed to partnering with you in guiding your student through the challenges and triumphs of the next few years. Firmly grounded in a christian worldview, our mission remains unchanged. Your student will have a wonderful college experience at Liberty University.
