2014-2015 FAFSA on the Web Preview Presentation

December 20132014-2015 FAFSA on the Web Preview Presentation

2For 2014-2015, Federal Student Aid has restructured the FAFSA on the Web preview presentation. Based on feedback from the financial aid community, the purpose of this presentation has been modified to provide financial aid administrators (FAAs), mentors, and counselors with screen shots that can be used as a guide to the 2014-2015 FAFSA on the Web site. This information can be used to create/modify presentations for training and high school nights. The screenshots in this presentation are intended to show the majority of the questions on FAFSA on the Web; however, most students and/or parents will likely not need to answer all of these questions when filing their application. This presentation does not include any screenshots of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Correction process, as this process is similar to the FAFSA Application process. All data used to create this presentation is test data and is intended to show examples of what the site will look like when it is available.

Please review the notes section of each slide to see additional information surrounding the slide or the red arrows on that slide. The 2014-2014 version of FAFSA on the Web will be available for applicants to use on January 1, 2014.You may use the Web Demonstration site to preview 2014-2015 functionality beginning December 29, 2013.As of 11/27/13, the Web site is still undergoing final testing and is subject to change pending Office of Management and Budget approval prior to implementation.
