grille installation instructions

Always disconnect battery before servicing any fuses or electrical system.

Before you can mount your new Rigid Industries grille, you need to remove the factory grille from the grille shell. Use the following procedure for removal. Remove (4) four 10mm screws on the factory grille shell.

Remove 2 factory clips by prying up on the center tab. Remove grille shell.

Cut the center plastic out of the factory shell as shown.

The top of the factory grille should have a nice clean cut. Use masking tape to protect the factory chrome or paint when aligning the new mesh.

Mark and drill the side tabs. Place new mesh inside factory shell. Align top of the factory grille with the notch on the new mesh.

Your grille has been bent to match the contour of the 2014 Toyota Tundra grille shell. It was tested in a sample grille shell and adjusted by hand to mount as cleanly as possible. However, the metal is easily bendable when not attached to a

Use the 1.25 long pan head bolt with the spacer between the tab and factory plastic shell.

Use the following steps to attach your grille to the shell and then attach the lights to the new grille. Bolt the (6) six lower tabs in with a washer and lock nut on the bottom of the grille shell.
