As 2014 has come to a close, we’ve learned about the necessity

to “FINISH” well. 2014 has been a blessed, meaningful and

successful year for Horizon Worship Center.

Finish Well!

Page 3: 2014 A Year in Review

Oftentimes, we are hit with a great thought, oridea. In the mind it sounds perfect and almostalways comes off without a hitch. Eager andexcited, we jump in head first and soon find outthat it’s gonna take some hardwork, dedication, committment, discipline and purpose to finish thatwork.

As 2014 comes to a close, and 2015 brings forth abrand new beginning, Pastor Larry Williams ofHorizon Worship reminds us that there is a“Necessity of Finishing.” Not only must wefinish, but it is important to finish well.

Pastor Larry lays our four important key pointsabout finishing in 2014.

1. There is a price to finishing - (Luke14:28).

2. Finishing must be a priority - (John4:34)

3. There are problems that come withfinishing - (John 19:28)

4. There is a prize that comes withfinishing - (II Timothy 4:7)

There is no greater example of finishing well, than that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We must consider the cost or price it takes tofinish. Knowing that He would have to paythe ultimate price for the entire human race,Jesus knew the price he was paying. Not onlydid he know the price, he made the work ofthe Father a priority.

When the we look at the life of Jesus, we seethat he went though some horrific, terribleand humiliating things in order to finish thework. Sometimes, there are going to be a lotof unknows in between starting and finishing. As we work, there will be unforseenproblems, issues, circumstances that come upalong the journey. But the awesome thingabout it all is that there is a PRIZE infinishing. If we don’t get weary, give up orgive in, we are in store for a glorious prize.

So, as you walk in 2015 remember...

Finish and finish well!!!
