1. Minimum fi rst Class* BE/BTech or equivalent degree in Electrical or Electronics

and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation or Telecommunication

or Information Technology, AND

2. Valid GATE qualification in Electronics and Communication (EC).

Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials and Metallurgy, Mechatronics ,

or Automobi le Engineering; AND

2. Valid GATE qualification in Mechanical (ME) or Production and Industria l (PI)

IIT graduates with CPI equal to or more than 7.0 and sponsored candidates are

exempt from GATE qualification.

* The first class is defined as

(i) 60 % marks for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST) category in aggregate or as specified by the university/institute , OR

(ii) CPI/CGPA of 6.0 for GEN/OBC (5.5 for SC/ST) category on the scale of 10; with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than on 10

(for example 4.8 for GEN/OBC category (4.4 for SC/ST) on a scale of 8) , OR (iii) A first class as specified by the University/Institute awarding the degree.

How to Apply

Appl ication must be submitted ONLINE through our website (http://www.iiti.ac.in).

After submitting the application online, the same is to be downloaded and the signed hard-copy along with recent photograph and self-attested relevant certi ficates , document and appl ication fee must be reach to the fol lowing address .

Application fee (non-refundable): 800.00 ( Eight Hundred Only) to be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "Registrar, IIT Indore" and payable at Indore.

The application received after the last date of application OR not meeting the qualifying cri teria will NOT be considered for further processing and no request wi l l be enterta ined in this matter.

The envelope of the application must CLEARLY mention "APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION IN (name of the programme and discipline) for AY

2014-15."
