October 2013 Greetings! I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to become a part of the Charlotte Jewish Film Festival family. With help from our Corporate Partners, Patrons and Ticket Buyers, we have developed the CJFF from a one night program in 2005 that was attended by 140 people into a multi-week cultural celebration that presented 12 films to an enthusiastic audience of more than 3000 this year. Their dedicated support allowed us to create an event that has won Charlotte Magazine’s Voter’s Choice Award for “Best Local Film Festival or Series” in 2012 and 2013. The 2014 festival will mark our 10 th Anniversary and we are currently working on another exciting program that will kick off in late February 2014. It will include an increased number of films and screenings, new "extra" events and a marketing campaign that will not only help celebrate our 10 th Anniversary but also launch the CJFF into its exciting second decade. Through your generous support, the CJFF will continue to provide an illuminating and entertaining cultural experience that will give film lovers throughout the entire Charlotte region an opportunity to enjoy stories, characters and themes with universal appeal.
